     Pooor you. Think I would have done my nut. Not into decapitated anythings. Mine have learnt to leave the gifts outside. It is the live things they bring in that are of great concern to me.

But the dogs are worse. Saved may a frog from them. Their eyes swell up, they foam at the mouth - and when they have recovered they go after the frog again.

Same here the only difference is we have a problem keeping the frogs out of the house some how they still get in the dog does us a favor by "taking them out"

Lol we don't get them in the house. The pool is outside the front door and we hear "plop" while watching TV. The the "save that darn frog" mission starts.

I think it's mostly due to our wooden floors we live in a very old house build around 1930's

Nope I hadn't - but I will now. My dogs also give the cats a run for their money - but I remain a cat person.

SilverBack wrote:Zana, you have got it a little bit wrong. As mentioned previously, I volunteer at the SPCA. When I first started, I was shocked at how many actually get adopted! A lot of dogs kittens and puppies do! I kid you not....it was an eye opener for me. I expected a small handful to be adopted. The truth is that its more the younger ones that do get adopted, but I assure you lots of people adopt from the SPCA, and its more than most people think. Its also growing, and more people seem to be going to the SPCA first looking for a dog.

At the end of the day if a dog does not get homed, they do get put to sleep. I for one dont really see another way. Wish there was :( But....its a while before they do, so ja. The system seems to be working ;)

Oh...I went back there Friday afternoon. The oke was not there. Hopefully he got the message. Will check up every now and again though ;)
Thanks for the update, well not all SPCA's get regular adopters, especialy in a small town, which is already has alot of pets... But thanks, glad to know not all is to bad :-)
Thanks :-)
Love and hugs

((^_^))
Too true that. I have only worked at Sandton SPCa...so ja, not sure about the trends at other SPCA's though ;)
