Tensol 12 is a general glue, but isnt that strong.
When glueing tubes, you want your acrylic to be the same type. This means that the tube is extruded, you want to use extruded blocks for the bases and tops.
Extruded acrylic is best glued using Acryfix or Tensol 30.

All acrylic glues work similar. They break down the material and rebuild the acrylic to become one solid piece of acrylic.

Perspex is 10 times stronger than glass, but scratches easily.

Very easy, just go slow

Drill the hole 0.5mm smaller than you want the thread to be, and then thread it

Skidd, that is exactly what I mean. Just make sure that the groove is wider than the wall thickness of the tube. The effect that you get is a pool of glue where the tube sinks into.

Stress can be released from the acrylic.

After all the manufacturing (tapping, glueing, bending, etc...) the product must be heated up to the operating temperature (+80 deg C) and then kept at that temperature for a time (+/- 1 hour). The cooldown period is also extended to about 2+ hours.

That should give you a stable product.

Yeah, just chuck it in the oven for an hour or so and the stress will be taken care of
