Ya. I know what happens in wars and so do most people, but we should get a choice whether to view those pics or not. A random pic of a dead child popping up on my screen is not on. What if my bro was with me. I feel for those people, but showing those pics without a warning on a family forum is wrong.

Actually Ike.. those are images that were screened on International Television - i suggest you brush up a bit on your knowledge before making innane comments... they are NOT photoshopped... neither are these...

Guys c'mon, as a muslim in sa, i'm ashamed at the extremists in my own religion. This is being named as a war against islam, which I feel to be very wrong! We stand together as humans and should fight together against terrorism!!! Please stop making it into a religious battle...

I feel the violence against innocents on both fronts is unnecessary...

My being a slum o doesnt make me a terrorist!!! just remember that in future comments...

extremists exist in all facets of life... they should not be generalised to represent the beliefs of a religion

It's funny how Muslims are terrorists, but when the American do things even worse than them, it's fine. Terrorists killed a few thousand people on 9/11, and it was wrong, but is that an excuse to go to a country and kill tens of thousands of their innocent civilians, oh wait, I forgot, an eye for an eye, that's wha the bible says, so they are killing in the name of GOD! If that is the God you follow, I would rather go to hell!

@Cyclic - Stop being such a baby, it's easy to say that you know whats going on in war, and to think about it. Fine, but when a picture is shown, it provokes a different emotion, seeing that you reacted to it so strongly, shows why these pictures need to be shown, maybe if everyone was forced to see them, maybe then we wouldn't think that the war is not our problem, but their's. Easy to talk about a war you never see isn't it?

Stop being so stupid. It's the way it just came up and the way it was posted thats the problem. I've seen tons of war clips. Clips of innocent guys getting their hearts cut out while they are alive from that war that was in the DRC and the hearts being eaten aswell just to name one. I know the things they do in wars. The problem is that I don't come to PCF to see that. I don't want to see that stuff while I'm busy having a fun game of Street Fighter, surfing forums. Wtf. If I want to see those pics then I will go read the articles and look at the pics myself at a time that suits me.

Exactly... it is the CHILDREN that die, that are being left without parents, without limbs.. instead of a loving, warm, safe home they dodge bombs! Its all too easy to speak about it if we think it happens to soldiers - those fine men and women... That's exactly why it is so effective, while you are sitting in front of your computer playing games having fun, that's what is happening to actual people. It's easy to look at something you are prepared for, different for it to be in your face! It's a bit of wake up call.

I was gonna say the same thing. Porn is a lot lighter than what was posted. That could cause problems for people who are really sensitive or who have lost their own children etc etc. A 13 year old is still in primary school. Isn't that the minimum age to join the forum?

I know whats happening in the war. I know people are getting shot and blown up and people are getting shot here. I just don't want to think about it all the time. Now exactly, it's good to ever now and then stop and think about what's happening, especially when you are having a good time, because you are fortunate enough to be having a good time. I enjoy myslef all the time, but I take time out to reflect on what is going on around me. That is the big problem with today's society, they get upset as soon as there is the slightest inconvience in their lives. They know all the problems, but it's no t their problems!

Is it right that people should get forced into thinking about it at random times when they may be trying to escape or have a good time. NO! I think about how lucky I am all the time especially living here with the crime and when I watch the news or read the paper, but now I want to play games and forget (for lack of a better word) about people getting shot dead. If i had know PCFF was the place to get your pics of dead corpes I wouldn't have logged on right now.

It's wrong and doing it with a pic like that is even more wrong especially at a place like this. PC Format Forums.

Oh and with regards to your last sentence, what do you suggest I do about the war?
