It is - but then it is my policy to try and enjoy everything you have to do. No point being miserable

I was in a car accident about 5 hours back. Got hit right on my drivers door by a taxi. Passengers (only 3) in the taxi told me the driver was drinking, speeding and on his cellphone. The one guy is willing to testify. He thinks the driver was doing 120 kph, but I'm not so sure. Corsa bakkie is probably a write-off.

I got off fairly lightly. No broken bones. Just some very sore lower back muscles, a cut that nicked an artery on my finger, some cuts on my legs and arm and some nasty bruises. But on the whole I am fine. Going to have a lot of trouble sleeping tonight, as I am in a lot of pain while lying on my back or side.

if i can give you some advice from someone who was in a car accident a month ago: get a good pain killer that doesn't make you sleepy (Norflex works for me after i tried a few others) and drink it, don't try to be mucho, it's toooo dam sore. also, get Thrombophob gel, it is for the bruises and helps with the blood circulation and makes the bruises disappear faster without the colour changes... i was black and purple everywhere the seatbelt caught me and after a week they were gone, tho i still have the hard heamatomas left but they are slowly getting smaller...

take your time, you won't heal in a week and even i am still scared of intersections and other people on the road when driving self... my car was a write-off and it was only 4 months old...

just take good care of yourself and take it easy... if you can, get someone to help you for the first few days, i know i wouldn't have healed as quick if it wasn't for RRF helping me...
