Ok, this is weird. I have only one PC running both the CPU and GPU client, and this moring (00:30), my Folding@home page still showed only 2 active CPU's. I now just got home, and after 14 more hours folding my Folding page shows 3 active CPU's? Is my PC duplicating itself?

Well, according to Kakao Stats, in 30 days I'll be #5 But I doubt it. You're in luck, my PC decided to try and die today, so somewhere in the weekend I'll have to format But I'll keep folding until then...

Well, its look like we're climbing the ladder nice and quickly to get that 800th spot. Furion is not letting up in the chase for the crown... but hopefully this weekend I'll unlease my *special weapon*

I've managed to get past 200k points, but Furion is still sitting on my tail with having 146k. Pretty much everyone is doing nicely, just a sad thought that we could do with more people

I have had my machine shutdown for maintaince for 20 hours and only just started really folding again now, so vamp you are safe for now. But I will hunt you down my undead friend. I too have a special weapon but i will only activate it once i see yours

The team is doing nicely. But lets spread the word guys. get people at work or family to join our cause and have a little healthy competition amongst yourselves too. its fun and helps save lives.

I'll show you mine if you show me yours I'm planning on trying to get a 8800GT G92 this weekend, which will allow me to run SMP in linux (3500PPD) as well as GPU2 in linux (hopefully I get ~2500-3000PPD).

That means from one machine (in linux) I'd hopefully be getting 6500-7000PPD.

My current rig setup allows me 7200 PPD. but...if i activate my secondary machine which has an E2180 and 8600 GT (both O.C) that should augment my score nicely...and i still have a trump card which i wont reveal as yet...

If i were running linux my PPD would be significantly higher. the a2 core is a really nice core and is so efficient unlike the a1 im stuck with.

And the competition heats up...the moment you activate yours...I'll bring my second rig online I'll keep the trump card in researve for now...

Trump card being that you may get a PS3?

I still want to see one of those fold.

And i loathe consoles...though the PS3 isnt too bad...in a sick sort of way.

yea, I realise that but it still hurts

if only we could find a local proxy with a dedicated line to stanford, that way we could buy local cap @30GB for R130 then you won't have to worry about cap for ages... 30GB for just folding should last you a good few years

It's depressing that there's no GPU client for Linux...
