Sweet Law - wish I could have been there. Watched at home - Sharks were lucky to pull things straight, the game started to go a bit pair-shaped in the beginning of the second half for the sharks. Lol - Butch James dummied the cr@p out of those two Blues players when he went over for his try!!! I love it! Well done to Frans Steyn and Weylon Murray for making it into the Bok training squad.

Your post confused this poor twit, KB. You say you're a rugby fan, yet you choose to miss both matches and would rather spend your time elsewhere just because, if I understand you correctly, it would mean having to listen to other people discussing Toyotas? :?

So....um work with me here....what ARE you tring to say?

Hey Hey

So it looks like the sharks wont have to beat the crusaders.
But beat the Bulls.

He this is gonna be fun!!!

Lol... Considering the bulls failed to score a single try in their semi finals, I think the Sharks should quite safely take this game... Will be a very good game to watch I expect, but yeah...

Only worry is that, as has quite obviosuly been done in previous years, the Sharks arent told to 'back off' against the bulls and let them win... If they play full out they will cream the Bullz...

What a load. Its not a matter of scoring tries in the semis, the bulls beat the Blues 40-19 just 2 weeks ago. They scored more tries against the Blues than the Sharks did,so I dont know what you guys are on about. I believe the teams are very evenly matched, and while the sharks have the home team advantage this weekend, our play maker, Fourie du Preez will be back,so expect some tries. May the best team in blue win

Ya... Whatever. You need to put them in perspective. I mean, the bulls can just as easily turn this one around on you.

FACT 1:

No try doesn't mean that we won't win the sharks. If you take a look at what the bulls did in their game and what the sharks did in their's, it's 2 completely different game plans.

The sharks played for tries, as the bulls played for points. Out of all the penalties we got, there were about 2 within range that we kicked out. The rest was all converted to points. The sharks on the other hand, kicked almost all their penalties for field position and the tries. No, im not saying that it was the wrong choice, because it worked for them! Congrats! ;-)

FACT 2:

We played against the winner of Super-Series for the last 8 years. OBVIOUSLY scoring a try would have been REALLY hard.

I'm not saying the sharks had easier oponents. I'm just saying that considering the reputation of the 2 sides, the Crusaders are the better team.

FACT 3:

The Blues missed 23 tackles out of 132. 'Nuf said. No, I'm not saying that the Sharks didn't make that happen, quite a few of the missed tackles were due to GREAT gameplay by the sharks.

The Crusaders on the other hand, their defence was as good as ever. Just notice how many breaks we had, and how quickly the crusaders recovered. It's one of their trademarks.

FACT 4:

The crusaders didn't score one try against the bulls.

The blues scored 2.

FACT 5:

Victory margins:

Bulls won the Blues: 40 - 19
Bulls lost against the Crusaders: 32 - 10
Bulls won the Crusaders: 27 - 12

Sharks won the Crusaders: 27 - 26
Sharks won the Blues: 32 - 25
Sharks won the Blues: 34 - 18

PF - PA - PD (for the games involving non-SA teams in semi's):

Sharks: 93 - 69 - 24
Bulls: 77 - 41 - 36

So it's really quite equal. ;-)

Either way, Good Luck to both teams, They both deserve it. Although I do hope the Bulls win!! ;-)

Personally I am a Sharks fan but I think both squads are playing brilliant rugby and a awesome final can only be expected. Yes Bulls may have looked slightly more convincing then the Sharks (Although we still won by quite a bit) but thats at Loftus.

Personally I think ABSA stadium will have a effect on the Sharks and give them that little more to win the final. But hey who cares South Africa has won the Super 14 for the first time.

Sharks!
