Recently got a Gainward 6800 Ultra and except for doom I have put every single game that I have got at max 1600 * 1200, even 1880 * 1400 on games that allow it, with driver settings all set to max with max AA and AF in game.
here are my doom 3 results (all on high)
1280 * 1024, AA - 0, AF - 8 = 70.2
1280 * 1024, AA - 2, AF - 8 = 62.4
1280 * 1024, AA - 4, AF - 8 = 49.6
1600 * 1200, AA - 0, AF - 8 = 60.0
1600 * 1200, AA - 2, AF - 8 = 50.8
1600 * 1200, AA - 4, AF - 8 = 37.8
I still need get some experience on the benchmarking side, but here are my scores.
3DMark03 = 12200
3DMark05 = 4016
But I'm a gamer - just benchmark my system to see what I can get out of it.
So far I must say that I am extremely happy with the card and would highly recommend Gainward.
Once I watercool the card I'll overclock because their cards have a good reputation for OC.
