Basically I'm a student and I'm going to get the DSTV compact package for my flat, I've got a Sasmung 24" HD screen and want the clearest picture possible.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks
(BTW, I do have a TV liscence)
Riiiiight... And now that the
Days of our Lives TV License wars are over, maybe we can get back to the OP.

i have the gigabyte u8000 hybrid and paid R499 for it about 2.5 years ago.
I'm using splash player and can watch digital channels for free!
These are all the channels i can watch for free:
Mnet
Mstar
CSN
etv
etv africa
VUZU
BLITZ
Mnet action
Kowee
Mzansi
Does anyone have any idea of a current card that has similar (hybrid) capabilities? I don't mean anything fancy (aka
Media Centre Quality, just a basic tuner that'll be reasonably 'future proof' against digital boradcasting.
@thrillseeker75 - I thought you needed a decoder for MNet etc?
