He has his own insanity scale. None of us will touch it until he boils it or sterilizes it or something.

I got your PM, I am still trying to get that out of my head... *tries a steel brush* :D

Once upon an evening dreary, while i reviewed weak and weary
Many a PC title that was delivered to my door
While I noted ultra settings, textures and the new bitmapping
There came a sound like someone tapping, tapping on my chassis wall
I looked up at this strange noise coming from my chassis wall
Only this and nothing more.

Ah, distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak December
When I heard that tapping, gently rapping on my chassis wall
Overcome with fear and worry, I leaned over to my sorrow
And prised the side off my poor case's wall
I peered therein to find the source of all my pall
I looked in and nothing more

Amid the wires and fans, I reached in with my own hands
To inspect the funny noise that was coming from my core
I checked all connections and my cable (at least, those I was able)
Till I came upon the problem that was making all the furore.
A little smoke was rising and I foresaw me prising
Out the burnt and smoking remains of my new Quad-core
Only that and nothing more
.

Technically he is correct. He is not going insane. He already is.

Drakonis, How sad - now you need a lament for the quad core. Cool poetry - yours?

My words, not my quad core. (with apologies to E.A. Poe, whose rhythm and concept I stole) I am still working on frying the Quad I have at home, shouldn't be long now with a case temp of about 70 degrees...

Can we guess what it is by asking yes or no questions? I'll go first:

Does it use 4 penlight batteries?

For a moment I thought everyone was posting in Mike's thread.
Where I am from, a Raven is an apparatus for doing magic tricks by the way.
No, not that kind of trick...

And the new toy is about the size and shape of a shiny new notebook... It's been in the office for about
*checks watch*
six hours and has had itself formatted and upgraded already.

(In reflection I did kinda ask for those replies, didn't I)

I'll have to learn my lesson... but...
I won't.
This will happen again. *sighs*

Duncan used to run our web/mobile side of things. He has since moved on to work for FIFA, I believe. He also used to edit Computer Active magazine.

And I am not emo from playing games all day. It is the all night gaming that does that. :) And all the other work I get done. KB tends to exaggerate about my 'minor' workload.

I'm glad you said exaggerate and not under-exaggerate. I least you're honest.
We'll be expecting the March issue on shelves by the 25th 8am when doors open. Maybe even before to make up for the last issues that was so late.

I really need to start paying more attention to when we go on-shelf. There shouldn't be any problems though, I've had my copy of the new issue on my desk for about a week now.

You will notice that I never mentioned which direction KB was exaggerating in. ;)

I think that the Duncan email address is still just a default one from the folks who are running the site. It'll all be changing shortly.

I may ("may") have a few spare issues lying around nearby... depends when we're allowed to let the public see them, but we usually have copies in our reception area well before in-store dates.
