nope.. his argument is entirely valid... you lot keep raving about the drivel being produced based on the same tired story lines... and you imagine because the shiny picture changes that the story is unique.. it isn't... it's the same shallow bovine faeces of a plot with a new set of curtains, maybe some saccharine cuteness...

not to worry, though.... ubisoft has just announced their own film studio... so pretty soon you'll be able to rave about even more derivative nonsense as if it were fresh, exciting and entertaining...

How about you respect that everyone has their own opinions and stop labelling everyone? The last time I checked, this wasn't the universe in which your opinion was the only one that mattered, okay?

The trick is really to stop watching the mainstream movies that has zomgawesome trailers and that's been overhyped and overanticipated to the factor of a 1google. I've found that there really are a few movies that's been released lately that is original and really is better than the other mindless dribble that's polluting the film industry.

Just watched The Way Back which is about a group of people who escaped a concentration camp in Russia(I think) and they walked all the way to India.

I think it is a remarkable story and really one of the better movies I've seen lately.

Edit: Forgot to add my opinion of it

Any "based on a true story" movie usually still has more than a fair amount of Hollywood over-the-top in it.

I have a wide variety of taste when it comes to movies and I might end up enjoying it if I watch it, but I won't go out of my way to watch it.

Can't believe Fast and the Furious 5 is coming to the screen soon. Just saw that. Haven't looked what it's about yet and probably won't. I think they've already overdone it and should've stopped at 3. Leaving out number 2.

1 was good, I enjoyed it. And 3 was the best out of all them for me. 2 Was one of the worst movies ever created. It was terrible. 4 was just overrated because of all the hype of getting Vin Diesel back in. So that totally flopped. I'll wait for 5 to come onto TV and if it's not showing at the same time as My Name is Earl, I'll watch it.

I'm sorry... you think 3 was better than 2?

1 was the best for me, the rest were total crap, until 4, which wasn't too bad. I'll watch 5 'cause The Rock plays in it.

Yes, Tokyo drift is my best one.

Dwayne Johnson plays in 5 ??? Maybe it'll be worth it. The only movie of his that was a fail was that "Race to witch mountain" thing. Couldn't sit through it. I really enjoy his movies.

Number 5 has Vin Deisel and The Rock.

The story is going back on track at last...

or so it seems. its the two guys from the first movie. teaming up to pull off some big robbery and then The Rock is the Cop that is after them.

I am going to watch it and hope that they finally see that jumping around in the story and stuff only worked for Star Wars.

Ever since Chronicles of Riddick I've really enjoyed Vin Diesel Movies. Even the games was awesome.

Not a Vin Diesel fan. He's only famous because the first Fast and Furious did so well, but he can't really act. Remindes me of Keanu Reeves.

Yeah, but that's only 'cause Riddick is an emotionless character. Right up Vin Diesel's alley.
