+1 on that mate. Been developing on a PHP call logging portal for one of our clients. Now I have to go through to their offices to impliment but that means dropping the SLA on one of our other clients. The Brass is not going to be happy about this.

Oh well sometimes you have to make sacrifices. The higher ups need to accept that unfortunately.

Hi everyone,

Okay, here's the deal: I need to break up with my laptop, but I'm afraid of hurting its feelings. To be honest, it hasn't really done anything wrong; it's just that it has little in common with the newer CPUs, and I don't see the sense in keeping it when the newer CPUs are so much more compatible with my personality. I still care deeply about this laptop; is there any way for me to make this a clean break?

Stuart, Organise a meeting with me and your laptop will never look back. In fact, your laptop will break up with you so her feelings won't get hurt and you'll be free to hook up with another laptop.

Although no advice was given, but I shall take it as a compliment

Why don't you do what I do, keep it as a second back up computer. Everytime I get a new machine I always keep my old one for backup and other use. I only throw away my PC when it is completely not fixable.
