Re: Reader's Corner
Many fans of the fantasy genre are looking forward to the upcoming , Game of Thrones, the first book in the Song of Fire and Ice series.
Mark Addy as King Robert
Lena Headey as Queen Cersei Baratheon
Isaac Hempstead-Wright as Bran Stark and Kit Harington as Jon Snow (right)
Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jamie Lannister
I take it that the one in the middle is Ser Piggy/Lord of Ham. I cannot wait for that scene where he yells, “I yield “
Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lannister
I haven't seen any pictures of Sansa or Arya
Last night I finished re reading a Game of Thrones ( I borrowed a copy) If one reads the series can actually see where Terry Goodkind tried to copy certain elements ( such as the violence, sex and gore) Everyone keeps reminding of the many constructs Goodkind borrowed(stole) from the Wheel of Time series, never even bothering disguising that which he "lifted"

I like Lena Headey.
Managed to finish a chapter from my book after weeks of not touching it.

Ahzure is his books any good? I'm wondering if I should get myself a copy of one of his books. What would you recommend?
Re: Reader's Corner
It's old (1975), and well-documented, but whilst browsing through the local used bookstore recently I happened upon Lawrence Kusche's The Bermuda Triangle Mystery--Solved. I have fond memories of me, as a child, begging my dad to retell me the many stories of the Bermuda Triangle. I was convinced that it was the world's greatest mystery, which would never be solved. I've long since given up my conspiracy theory mentality of the Triangle and was familiar with the name Larry Kusche, but had never actually read the book. (This is partly due to my aversion to books with the words "solved" or "case closed" in the title--Portrait of a Killer, anyone?) But this was R10, so I figured why not.
Look, it's not necessarily the easiest read in the world. A good 50% of the book is just citations of official shipping and avaiation records of the "mysteries" involved, and much of it is blandly repetitious, but overall I found the book strangely captivating. It's actually a quick read, and you'll gloss over much of it, but it's offers interesting insight once again into the nature of writers to simply perpetuate the errors of those before them without any original research or reasoned thought.

nerd rage and creepy pr0n - it's like having your goat and.... well... i really don't want to know...
as an aside... maybe amazon can take a flying leap... the whole concept of excising something you've purchased is wrong, no matter how much it makes the skin crawl....
all this just when switzerland is about to decriminalise incest...
now we just need some wacko doomsayer to wade in with flaming molotovs and eye-popping rhetoric and we'll be made...

"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.
