If you're lucky it's just your links. They do wear out. R500 max and you're up and running. That's hoping.

Then i doubt it was the gears. you'd hear a horrible crunching sound that any one can recognise with pain as expensive damage.

Drive shaft could have failed. the fact that ingaging your clutch stalls your car, is very confusing

It doesn't stall the car.

It doesn't stall the car.

oh. then i'm guesing its your drive shaft. unless you broke a sideshaft. in which case its that.

doo_much, Perhaps they do. but they bought me a really cheap WC kit a while back and i never used it. partly because i subsequently discovered how rubbish it was. I finally convinced my dad that the only decent part was the radiator.

but also because if it leaks and i fry something, my mom does not want to foot the bill. Well i don't intend to fry anything, and i have enough money to be able to replace almost everything in it.
