It could also be the driver. It's slightly more expensive to replace the driver, but it can make the car last much longer.Synthesis wrote:If you're lucky it's just your links. They do wear out. Then i doubt it was the gears. you'd hear a horrible crunching sound that any one can recognise with pain as expensive damage.Tribble wrote:I stopped at a three way and put it into gear and it didn't move. Drive shaft could have failed. the fact that ingaging your clutch stalls your car, is very confusing

oh. then i'm guesing its your drive shaft. unless you broke a sideshaft. in which case its that.Tribble wrote:It doesn't stall the car.Prime wrote:Then i doubt it was the gears. you'd hear a horrible crunching sound that any one can recognise with pain as expensive damage.Tribble wrote:[.quote="Prime"]What exactly did your car do tribs?[./quote]
I stopped at a three way and put it into gear and it didn't move. The clutch works cause when I was being towed I could break without cutting out the engine (called a stall). None of the gears seem to be there at all. One guy said some thing has come loose.

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
doo_much, Perhaps they do. but they bought me a really cheap WC kit a while back and i never used it. partly because i subsequently discovered how rubbish it was. I finally convinced my dad that the only decent part was the radiator.
but also because if it leaks and i fry something, my mom does not want to foot the bill. Well i don't intend to fry anything, and i have enough money to be able to replace almost everything in it.![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Erm... knowing his internal IP won't help you at all if you have malicious intentions; you'd be more interested in the external IP address.Siemens wrote:Now I know your ip.
