So lats night I got home at 6 and tried to log in... 1800 in que... no problem, alt-tab to star craft and entertain myself with some good old fashioned marine rushes.

3 and a half hours later, I am 1200 in que. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.....!

My guild and I are looking to change realms. We are heard good things about Lighthammer. We are alliance. Would really appreciate any other suggestions?

Thanks for the invite Ruad. :) We were hoping to move the entire guild though. We have about 30/40 members.

That is fine with me. I would love to have more active people in the guild. Only reason we struggled with ICC was that we didn't have enough people to always fill the raids. Also we could never hope to have any such thing as a 25 man and if we can get that running it would be brilliant for us. So if you want to change reams I and you do chose Auchindoun I would be more than happy to give you a home. over 90% of our guild members are South Africans and 95%+ of us speak Afrikaans.

Cool man. Will discuss it with the guild.

I would love to know if there is anyone with wow in PE, I just re-activated my account and installed cata only to find out that I need an extra 9 gig after installing from cata CD. There is no way I can download that amount of data so would love to know if there is anyone I can copy the up to date client from?

For those interested, I was browsing Landmark's site (looking for something else), and noticed that they may still have stock of CE's. I would definitely contact them before ordering though, just in case.

I bought a few 333 items at 83 since I was going to use them for sometime anyway. And bought 2 piece from my justice point but not sure how I managed to do it because I was instantly hc ready.

OMG, heroics...are...horrible. Apart from the fact that they take so long now, I am finding it near impossible to get the daily heroic done for valor points. Never mind the 50 min queue times, the bosses are just too hard for pugs..is anyone else having the same experience or is it just me?

Just don't PUG.... I know you have your perky pug already so just do it with your guild and you should not have any issues.

Queue times are hideous on my server as well. I have yet to get into a random 5-man using dungeon finder - always gives me a 30-40min wait time and then something happens and I'm forced to quit the game before I reach the front of the queue :(

We are a 4man group so we get 1 pug member but we know a few people so when online we ask them. Downed 2 Deadmine heroic bosses today and wasnt that hard. But stopped after the 2nd boss when our tank DCed. Tried Blackrock Caverns HC and we called it after 3 or 4 attempts. We are allowed into the dungeons but we can see our gear is lacking.

I just just break 6k dps. What do other dps look like?

Did that new boss in Tol Barad 10 man last night. Hit around 9k dps on the trash. Couldn't do the boss as I kept getting dc'd. It was a guild run. Haven't done heroics yet but in normal dungeons around 5.8 to 6k dps. I play a sv hunter. Gear avg ilvl is 326 atm so not hc ready yet.

Saw this today on MMO-Champion:
The Alchemy mount Vial of the Sands is no longer Bind-on-Pickup.
Here is the link for official site.

Nice find endev....

Regarding the DPS.. I am an Arcane mage and currently my max that I got was around 9k in a dungeon. My ilvl accoring to blizz is 325 so not ready for HC either. Need to lvl my Tailoring so that I can make myself some nice pants. Also that 9K was only when I managed to time my cd's perfectly and at the moment I can't say that I can see a whole big diff between my burn phases and mana regen phases. Also the movement on most of the fights prohibits me from actually evocating properly. I have also noted that most of the healers a struggling badly with mana. At lvl85 they sit with a shade over 70k mana and it is chowed up within 4-5 minutes into any fight. But then again I have also noted that most of the tend to seriously overheal. They seriously need to learn to apply Triage. But back to my point I have glyphed my evocation and currently also use it as a means to heal myself when a healer is either preoccupied or otherwise unable to hel me due to mana or due to being cc'd. I do throw off some serious crits in the range of 35-45k but they are few and far between as with the new gear my crit rate has seriously dropped. Not that I have less crit points it is just this damn diminishing returns on the stats. Also my haste rating is waaay down because of the same issues. My Arcane Blast is back up to a 2.2 second cast and it used to be around 1.7-1.8 seconds.

Hey all

I was told by a friend that he saw an article in pc format about a way to decrease your latency that has something to do with increasing the amount of packages sent and received, but he cant find that issue anywhere.
does anyone here know of it?

It is a registry entry which does not actually work on the amount of packets sent but it works on Windows' internal send dealay. What what Windows does is it delays the sending of a packet to check if there aren't any more packets to be sent to the destination. What the registry setting does is set this particular delay. So you can set it to 0 which means that the packet will be sent as soon as it is registered with the network driver. I can't remember the exact registry key so I went to google quickly and found this article which should help you : http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/i ... cyFix.html

I am pretty much convinced that nothing we do will decrease our latency. Our ISP is the determaning factor. Even the CoD thing with open/restricted/moderate NAT settings you will find that it changes for absolutely no reasons.

I use battleping http://www.battleping.com/ but it's not free. Costs about R105 depending on exchange rate at the time you pay - gives you 90 days..
It approximately halves my latency. I average about 400-600ms without it and about 210-250 with it running.
I can't play without it now, especially if I am healing..
