Ok, it would not have been a prob, but I understand your point... Only the 2 guys that at anytime want to swap the drive between them need to know each other's details...

Also remember, send it to the person, not his nick on here... Almost had trouble collecting NGE that was sent by a certain someone, which btw seems to be working...

Something like that Evade... As soon as Rayne completes those sticky/s, we will each post what we have and we can then all see what we want/need and so on...

Then the discussing between party X and Y will also be able to take place, to see if X has something he can put on drive for Y... We will definitely fine tune these details once we have the main sticky...

Let us just give Rayne some time as I am sure he is busy with other stuff as well...

Hi everyone...

Seems like ages since I was last here. If it's possible, I also want to be part of this hdd-circulating idea. Gonna have to buy a new hdd myself before then though - only have about 30gb free on my current 200gb drive. 8O

Since we can start posting lists, here's my current one: (I would have more, but a while ago my hdd crashed and I lost all of my anime - This is just the stuff I managed to get back and new stuff I've dl'ed.)

Berserk (1-23) - The version I managed to get back isn't great quality, and the subtitles aren't great, so I wouldn't recommend this)

Bleach (1-81) - All AVI's except 68-69, 72-80, which are RM.

FF7: Advent Children (1 movie) - 716mb.

FLCL (1-6 and OST) - Very good quality, all are 220mb+ AVI's, and most are over 240mb.

Full Metal Alchemist (1-51) - All AVI's, around 170mb each.

Full Metal Panic (1-24) - Very good quality AVI's, all 220mb+.

FMP: Fumoffu (1-15) - AVI's, around 170mb each.

FMP: The Second Raid (1-13) - Very good quality AVI's, all 230mb+.

Ghost in the Shell - Original Movie (2 Files - CD1 and CD2) - 1.36gb, MKV format.

Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex - GIG 1 (1-26 + OST) - AVI's, most around 170-190mb, but some up to 250mb.

Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex - GIG 2 (1-26) - AVI's, most around 170-190mb, but some up to 250mb.

Green Green (1-12) - AVI's, around 170mb each.

Gundam SEED (1-50) - MKV's, between 220mb and 300mb each.

Gungrave (1-26) - AVI's, around 170mb each.

Hellsing (1-13 + OST) - OGM's, around 220mb each.

Hellsing (1-13) - Dual lang OGM's, around 220mb each so slightly less quality than above version.

Ichigo 100% (2004 Jump Festa, OVA's 1-4, Special) - All AVI, Jump Festa and Special around 170mb, OVA's around 250mb each.

King of Bandit Jing (1-3, 5-6, 9-12, 3rd OVA - Got corrupted downloads, still in the process of getting the rest) - Episodes are dual lang MKV's around 230mb each, OVA is 230mb AVI.

Last Exile (1-26) - AVI's, around 170mb each.

Naruto (1-185 - missing 140 and 167) - AVI's, around 170mb each.

Samurai 7 (1-26) - AVI's, around 170mb each.

Samurai Champloo (1-26) - AVI's, around 150mb each.

Tenjou Tenge (OVA 1 and 2) - AVI's, both over 230mb.

Trigun (1-26) - Dual lang OGM's, around 230mb each.

I also need help finding a cushioned pouch / carry-bag. I can use my PS2's but it's gonna be too big, which will just add to the cost of postage also. So if anyone can tell me where to get one or has one then please let me know. I believe everyone will look after the drive, but we are all aware of the abuse parcels go through via postage.
I used to move around with my 80 gig wrapped in bubble plastic. You can get some at CNA. There are different sizes. See what suits your needs. They are pretty strong, you can practically stand on them and jack all will happen to your stuff (dont try it though)

IMO get a tough plastic and insert two layers in the speed services envelope. Wrap the hd in a lunch plastic and put between two newspapers. Put this bundle in between the two bubble plastics. for extra safety,, get a large sellotape and wrap the envelope. Breathwise, One band around the right, one around the middle and one around the left. Wrap one around lenghtwise and sure enough the PO lady will think you're a kook but even Interpol wont mess that up.
Cheesy, yet cheap and effective.

Frequently Asked Questions :

Why start an Anime Traders Club?

Because first and foremost fansubbed anime is a free trade and a lot of us don't have the resources to obtain
it otherwise.

But I do so why should I share?

To help those less fortunate.

But what if I already have a huge amount of anime?

I can assure you that you don't have them all.

And if I do how would I benefit from this trade then?

You would be given a chance to replace your missing, corrupt or low quality episodes with actual working, high
quality one's.

Can I join even if I don't have anything to trade?

Yes. Both seeders and leechers will be treated equal.

Fair enough, so how do I join?

By announcing yourself in this thread.

What happens then?

Your name will be added to the list of active members.

Where is the list of active members?

The updated list shall remain on the first page of the "Anime Traders Club Members & FAQ's" thread.

As a member, how do I start trading?

By posting your list of anime and requests in the "Anime Traders Club Listings & Requests" thread.

I've done so but how do I go about geting the HDD then?

By checking it's current status and asking for it in the "Anime Traders Club HDD Status & Hot-Tracking" thread.

I've done so but when will I get the HDD then?

As soon as it starts circulating in your area.

How do I actually go about getting it?

By either collecting it from the current handler in person or from your local post office counter it was posted to.

How do I know which post office to go to?

It will be your closest local post office.

How would I know when to collect it?

By either contacting Speed Services Couriers and asking them via contact number 0860-023-133 or by tracking the
package yourself online via http://www.speedservices.co.za

What do I need when collecting it via post office counter?

Your tracking number and ID book.

What do I need to use the HDD?

One open power outlet and one open USB 2.0 port.

How long do I get to keep the HDD?

Be sure to have it back in circulation as soon as humanly possible. Seeding and leeching should take only a few
hours at most. If this can be done overnight then please make it so.

So I'm not allowed to keep it until I've watched everything on it?

No you are not.

Why not?

Because other members are awaiting receipt as well.

But what if I don't have enough storage space?

That' be your problem then.

Am I liable for the drive once it's in my care?

Yes you are. Treat it as you would your own.

Is this HDD solely for anime trade?

Yes it is. Don't waste space with unwanted rubbish.

Am I allowed to trade hentai content?

No you are not.

Why not?

Because once it ends up in the hands of one of our younger members' parents I will not be the one explaining
how it got there.

So can I trade manga then?

Yes you can.

Rayne huns, i need to drop off all my other stuff with you so that you can add it to the system. - i'm not good at d'loading...

PS you can add a warning - anyone that is found to be dishonest in anyway - not sending back the real hdd, not sending it on.. and such will be blacklisted, and his e-male address will be given to every person who sells enlargement tablets.....

(not that he would need it if i'm finished with him *g*)
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.
