The Bike Thread

Post by WiK1d »

I didn't spot one, so I started one.

Here you guys can post your bikes, some new launches and your favorite bikes.

I'll kick off with a few I came across today.

MV Agusta F3 - Little bother of the insane F4 series.

Rumors are floating around of a 675cc B3 and F3 bike, I did some digging and all I could find was this scetch of the F4:

And the B3:

Apparently the B3 is just a photoshop, I don't know

2008 Cagiva Mito 125

The first make-over the bike has had in 13 years!

The twin-spar aluminium beam chassis on the 2008 Mito 125 looks similar to the one on the old bike, and the new Mito is expected to weigh about 125kg. Its 125cc, single-cylinder, two-stroke engine is likely to make 30 - 35 horsepower, and real-world top speed could be as much as 180km/h! More details and proper specs soon...
Honda Honda VTR1000 Concept

Now this beast is a work of art! I just love it!

Just check that front brake and tailpipes! 8O And a single front fork!

The bike is also fitted with a Mini Cooper S turbo! :D

That's it from me for now :)

The mono-shock on the front end of the VTR!
That is something I'd like to see them pull off.
Those exhausts look mean as well, although they'll never pass the noise emission tests :(
And I would imagine that the underside faring is going to be a mud and dirt magnet. That front wheel is going to spew rubbish into it.

The Mito looks very slick. Still a two-stroke though, not sure how much longer they will be able to keep that technology going in Europe with all the new carbon taxes and rules. Still would love to give it a ride round a track.

I'm a huge fan of

So impractical but I'd love to own one. These things are the commuting kings. Plus you can wheelie them all the way to work as well. I challenge you to arrive at the office without a smile.
