Ford Fiesta 1.4 3 Door

Post by KillerByte »

Hey guys

been looking at cars.

what are your views or opinions on the Ford Fiesta 1.4 (3 Door) 2008 model

I have been offered it at R110 000 at my local dealer
What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.

ya wth??

Just a question dude? Are you gay? No offence, but really, a Yaris is a gay car (no matter if you are male or female) and now jumping to a ford fiesta 1.4 which is just a little bit less gay... I mean if it was a 1.6 or a ST it's not at all gay, but Ford Fiesta 1.4... All I read is 'I am female'. :-P

Na, just kidding.

Rather get something with a bit more power. 1.4 is not good IMHO. And that my friend, is a ripoff. That price right there. You can get a 1.6 (as Hman said) for that price.

You do know the Fiesta is being replaced by the end of this year?
I would rather consider of buying a Volkswagen polo 1.4 for more or less of the same price, better quality and higher resale value...

Other cars to look for...
- New Mazda 2 going for R124 000
- Peugeot 207, could easily beat down the price to R127 000 (Peugeot has
alot of problems though)
- New Renault Clio
- Honda Jazz
- New Opel Corsa

....Fiesta is old technology...I just bought my wife a brand new polo 1.4 with an aircon, remote central locking for R124 000.

2 X Seagate Barracuda 1000GB
Nvidia Geforce 8800 Ultra 768MB DDR3

Vista Ultimate 64 Bit

Haha, lol Better quality how? My dad is a panelbeater at a VW (among other) accredited auto body repair shop, and he'd disagree.

Old tech how? My dad's Fiesta has ABS E/W remote C/L Aircon etc. For the price I mentioned earlier and it's got a much more powerful engine.
