"Street Racing" Achievements
Have you had any interesting achievements in the traffic light 'wars' recently....?
I am most impressed with my recent achievement of 'taking out' a BMW 330i (i.e. a 3 litre straight 6) with my good old trusty Mazda MX-6 (i.e. a 2.5L V6) I have no idea what was wrong with the guy or his car, but after my little victory I must confirm that I was more than chuffed....

My dad in his 318i 2002 model BMW(nice car with a decent amout of power for a 2.0) does something that annoys people so much when people drive up close he slows down then when they try to overtake he speeds ahead.
Edit: just joking see below

That is bloody dangerous I hope he doesnt do it when there is oncoming traffic, and only if he has a reason (e.g. someone tailgating you).garp wrote:My dad in his 318i 2002 model BMW(nice car with a decent amout of power for a 2.0) does something that annoys people so much when people drive up close he slows down then when they try to overtake he speeds ahead.

LOL!garp wrote:Hey -ASSASSIN- I'm just joking I just wanted to see if you would say anything about the 318i acceleration abilty
Yeah, I didnt want to sound mean, so i decided keeping quiet would be optimal. I one had the pleasure of driving one, and I must say full-bore acceleration is rather leasurely...
I must be compeatly stupid because I don't quit understand you from what I do "understand" it's a good car. My dads one is 2002 model so getting a bit old now (he drives a heck of a lot I think his petrol is something like R2000 or R3000 PM) so 2 years old now it's got a lot a lot on the clock but it's a company car ( me wanders what next car is going to be)had the pleasure of driving one, and I must say full-bore acceleration is rather leasurely...
BTW -ASSASSIN- you shouldent complain about your 25gig ATA 33 HDD I saw a 1.7gig ATA 2 HDD in a p4 1.6Ghz yes ATA 2

Oh yeah, sorry I was referring to the horsepower, or rather lack of, that the 318i has to offer. Excellent car besides that...garp wrote:I must be compeatly stupid because I don't quit understand you from what I do "understand" it's a good car. 8O Now thats amazing. I would have thought that such hard-drives dont exist anymore cause i would assume they all break in good-time due to motor-burn out etc.....LOLgarp wrote: BTW -ASSASSIN- you shouldent complain about your 25gig ATA 33 HDD I saw a 1.7gig ATA 2 HDD in a p4 1.6Ghz yes ATA 2

I have taken out a E320 (AMG Kit) and a V-Tec in the past 2 months.
The E320 is way heavy with slow reaction time, thus making the guy drive harder to catch up to me, then boom, smoke everywhere, he won the race but lost the battle.
The V-tec just wasn't used to being driven the way it was that day, still to new, shame..
(Hope it wasn't one of you guys)

Assassin, my car has a short ratio box for this purpose, the E320 was an auto with only the AMG body kit. Ofcourse he beat me but he blew his motor trying to stay ahead and it took him about 400m to get ahead. Boof, smoke everywhere.
Remeber this is only "robot to robot", my car only tops 170km/h
P.S. broke a piston on Monday morning
