A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

I think it's got to do with spam, but I also find it stupid, but it has a reason I suppose.TheModDoctor wrote:Gmail is so cool. But why can't we subscribe to this site with a gmail account? There is something about no free email accounts accepted. That sucks.

It was to stop troublemakers from creating new accounts and causing trouble all over again after being banned, IIRC.TheModDoctor wrote:But why can't we subscribe to this site with a gmail account? There is something about no free email accounts accepted. That sucks.

Right, im sure I deserved to be "temperarily banned" for no reason. Im so sure.It was to stop troublemakers from creating new accounts and causing trouble all over again after being banned, IIRC.
I wont say who I was, so just leave it, doesnt change facts though. There are people on this forum getting away with things worse than the people they aggrevated and got perm kicked.

AAAANYWAY, check out what i just read on the GMail blog:
How cool is that?! Each email has it's own URL?! That's fantastic!2. Bookmark emails
I frequently need to save a single email for a period of time, such as a message that includes an important phone number. But I don't want to create a separate label for one message, and I also don't want to archive all the email that comes in after that message just to keep that thread near the top of my inbox--and hopefully the top of my mind. This problem is now easily solved by a new ability to bookmark specific emails. All emails now have dedicated URLs, so just by adding a browser bookmark while viewing a message, you can return to it whenever you want, just like a regular web page--although you will still have to log in to Gmail if you've signed out.

Hotmail has actually pulled a few stops and improved quite a bit, I don't dislike it as much as I used to.SurvivOrX wrote:Gmail is noob! Hotmail pwns teh noobiness Gmail! HoTMaIl > teh world!

Re: Agreed.
...If you use Firefox gmail too can be colorful... not that the ability to choose themes rates very high on my criteria of a good mail serviceSurvivOrX wrote:With their new "Live" theme, they allowed Different coloured themes if you chose to upgrade.
I think they made it alot better. Then when I look at Gmail, I find a boring white theme .
