Worst Sport Ever
In light of the Sport Section, I thought it would be neat to see what people think is the worst sport ever.
In order for a sport to be judged on the "stupidness", one of would have to take into account of playability, classifaction of rules (and whether they actually make sense) and logical thought of the rules.
This is a very subjective piece, so avoid making your post insulting, just voice your opinion. On the flipside of the coin, people that perhaps do take part in any of the sports, try not take offense to it. :)
Aimed at "Law", how about "Touch Rugby" (jokes)
My opinion would be :
1. Lacrosse
2. Aussie Rules Football
3. Curling
4. Waterpolo (my horse keeps drowning) :)

Test Cricket
Anyone who could possibly assume that watching a game that lasts 5 or 6 days could be considered fun needs thier heads checked !
Most the time, the camera is watching :-
a. Hot chicks in the stands (of which there are none for the most part)
b. A pigeon/bird of some sort waddling around
c. The horizon while the comentator says something like "loverly weather here at twickenham"
Most of the time the comentators are talking absolute crap that's about as interesting as watching paint dry.
Actually going to a test cricket match can be fun if :-
a. It's the last day and the last few hours and the scores are close
b. You've been invited to a box with a lavish feast and copious amounts of booze
c. Your drugged
One Day and Limited overs is fine - that's good fun to watch.

But I must admit that I love watching Womens Tennis.
Espcially when AK is Playing.
As for the worst sport: Competitive Gaming
JUST KIDDING!!!
Aussie rules football is definately up there with the worst. I think there are some that are even worse still, but I can't think now.
Rugby, man that **** is just pointless.
Boxing, can there be anything worse than this?
Oh yes I forgot, WWF Wrestling, thats just crap.
btw bb_matt I happen to like test cricket! What other game can you fall asleep for two hours and wake up without missing much? No seriously I do enjoy test cricket. Now that one day crap I cant stand.

When there is a set piece (alineout or a scrum), or even a ruck or a maul, you have to be behind the feet of the last person to form part of the piece. for instance, with a Scrum, you have to be behind the feet of the 8th man (Except for the forwards in the scrum and the scrum half ofcourse.)
in open play (when the ball is kicked or run), you can't play when you're in front of the man with the ball, you can only stand still or move backwards.
Wrestling is one of those that I forgot. It's really Crap. Is it really a sport though?

Yeah, my bad, that's what posting after writing an exam does to ya. Must have been thinking about top-down programming methods or something

Maybe watching some games get boring, but playing soccer is totally different. You should see one of our action soccer games, that's interesting and very fast paced.
What you guys/girls think about Pro20 series? I reckon it's a lot more entertaining than those Test Cricket games.
Hey ou's, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Anna K has retired from professional tennis, so you won't see her on a tennis court as time soon. Pity, and she was playing so well too. lol.
Is WWE wresting a sport?

I can't stand watching soccer! Sorry guys. But it's the truth. It must be the most un rewarding game ever. 90min and somtimes you see 3 goals. 3 points the whole game. Sheesh. And they always seem to score when you doze off.
You know that great feeling you get after you sneeze.
Well soccer is the feeling you get after half a sneeze. You build it up waiting for it to happen and it goes away, only to come bother you agian in 5min and still no pay load.
Soccer is exectly the same, the guys have a brillaint run he passes the ball the striker shoots and misses. Then the same senario plays out again and agian.
Blah it ain't for me. Sports need to be more like Quake. Blood, guns and strafe jumping. lol

Nope, rugby is a damn fine game... It just like saying:Zeitabstand wrote:Paintball has no network cable....
Rugby is just plain CRAP... Pointless - 30 men running and sweating 4 crap knowes how long... Point = IT SUX.
(Warcraft 3 can be pretty crap 2... Dat qualify?)
Langames are just plain CRAP... Pointless - 30 pale underdeveloped geeks sitting and shooting pixels at each other 4 crap knows how long... Point = IT SUX.
It's not only in WWE that there's acting - Soccer players are good actors as well. One moment the guy flies through the air, lying on the ground in such extreme pain, it looks like he's out for the season, the next moment, after getting a free kick, penalty or whatever, he's as fit as a fiddle again.
