so we filmed today.
my knees are sore, i have a headache and i have about 20 minutes of footage.
this doesn't sound too difficult, and usually it wouldn't be, but let me explain my problem.
firstly, it took about 5 hours to shoot 20 minutes of footage, and the camera we used is marvelous but the problem is that the quality is too high.
For those of you that don't know, HD trailers are slightly over 8000kbps, now this footage that I am using isn't HD but it has to record each individual colour using a CCD chip. therefore the bit rate is a whopping 165888kbps!!!! and the audio bit rate is 1024kbps. Windows Movie make can't handle the footage, its jittery and horrible to use but unfortunately I can't get premier to read the different takes.

What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.
