BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!

Funny one, I stopped at 3 even though my cousin got it, so couldn't have been too difficult.

You did read the thread where this was originally posted (in the Ward somewhere) that there are teams of people who has been doing these puzzles for years to no avail.
There are 28 puzzles last time I checked and they compared the first one to Gr1 the second one to HighSchool and the 3rd one to varsity...

Good Luck
I kinda brought the thread back to life...

Just Riddles

Post by pyro »

A little riddle I have asked a few people and they all seemed dumbfounded.
Here's to seeing how smart some of you are.

A father and his son are involved in a car accident. The father is relatively unhurt but the son requires surgery. When they arrive at the surgery the head surgeon says "I can't operate on him, he's my son"

What relation is the surgeon to the son.

I will PM you with the correct answer if you want, but I ask that no one goes and posts it on this topic.

EDIT:

I DON'T WANT TO OFFEND ANYONE,BUT THE ANSWERS ARE REALLY FUNNY SOMETIMES. you can even PM me with your answers and they will not be posted.

Logic tells me

A:The mother screwed around and didn't tell any one who the real father is?

B:The one is a step dad

C:Father in law

D:God Father

E:There is only father head surgeon and accident father one and the same person *keyword "relatively unhurt " *

F:One adopted the son.

G:Inbreeding where your own son becomes your father?

The thing is with these kinda riddles is it leaves it open to many answers as wizard says, it could be any of those. It doesn't say anything more so as it stands the answer is :

The surgeon's son is the son involved in the accident. It doesn't say that he said to the the son's father, that he can't operate on him cos he is his son.

If they are different guys then :

Could be adopted/foster/step/god father. Or some strange family secret or redneck interbreeding as wizard points out.

Or the father in the car is a priest and not the son's father.

the "father" in the accident was in fact the son's grandfather or someone completely unrelated with kids of his own.... while he is still a "father", the "son" is either his grandson or one of his kids' friends. the son's father is the head surgeon.

If you were to complicate it as necessary to have some of the aformentioned confusion the wording would be "A father and his son..."

<edit>
SPOILER:i'm being pedantic... purely because misleading use of the language is, for me. as bad as peppering it with expletives... the obvious answer is that anyone *not* getting this is a misogynist...

Thought the same thing... A father and a son are not necessarily related.

What's with all this gender stereotyping? Now should i post my anser here or should i PM you?
The problem with the world today is stupidity. I'm not saying stupidity should be punishable by death, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Most of the above answer could be right, the riddle isn't really that much of a good one since it allows for multiple answers, a nice question if you want someone to be wrong since several answers are available and anyone is correct or incorrect.

Just to spare some of you the torture the surgeon is...drum roll please...HIS MOTHER.

The answer has been staring some people in the face. The answer and clues were hidden ingeniously in some peoples posts.(That or some of you just wanted to remain blind to the answer)

All due credit to everyone who got the correct answer.I will be changing the topic title to Just Riddles. If you feel like posting a riddle go right ahead and post it and some of us will relish the challenge.

Tall I am Young,
Short I am Old,
With life I do Glow,
Your breath is my foe.

Who am I?
