ROFLMAO!!!

I agree totally lol
Well, not totally! ;)

You agree on THAT statement, but you're still under the misinformed impression that the Bulls will end tops. :P

Ok so we are both misinformed but at least the bulls don't have to worry to much about Bobby Skinstadt. He will fall over his own tongue when he gets the ball and mess up...

I think we can only make a judgement after this weekend.

On friday we have:

Lions vs Waratahs (JHB) 19:00

Saturday

Sharks vs Bulls (DBN) 17:00
Stormers vs Cheetahs (CPT) 19:00

I think based on this weekend, we will be able to call it. BUT, the Sharks have an unbelievable track record away in NZ and AUS, so we will see what happens. PLUS the fact that there are no All Blacks in the squads from NZ for the first half of the Super 14. We might see 2 teams in the semis this year.

Here's holding thumbs for the Sharks this weekend though. It's always tough to beat the Sharks at home.

OK, Let me predict this weekend's results:*

Blues 15 vs Crusaders 31
Blues have Home ground advantage, but by taking into account their form last year, and the excelence of the Crusaders, I foresee the Saders taking an easy victory.

Force 6 vs Highlanders 27
Force aren't really high up on anyone's Favorites list, and the highlanders have a few tricks up their sleaves.

Lions 19 vs Waratahs 28
Not much to say here. The Top Aus. team vs the worst SA Team.
The Lions will need to have a complete, well thought out game plan to get close in this game, but I don't see that happening.

Chiefs 17 vs Brumbies 21
One of the closer games of the 1st round, but the brumbies will just outplay the Chiefs

Reds 11 vs Hurricanes 19
Not much to say about these teams. Pretty evenly matched, however, the NZ touch will put the Hurricanes ahead

Sharks 32 vs Bulls 21
Here I hear a bevy of cries of "What? Are you nuts"
I see the Sharks taking this one. Not because They're my team, but experience shows that the Sharks are a force to be reconed with in the Shark tank. The Blue Oxen will drown in the Sharks' Home Ground Advantage, and Confidence.

Cheetahs 38 vs Stormers 17
Lastly, The Stormers are just no match for the Cheetahs in Bfn. I don't care how much they changed their jerseys this year.

No good at divination? You're just saying that to cover yourself when your team lose!

awaits rebuttal

I had foreseen this response from you :P

But I neglected to add that the Sharks vs Bulls game has been prophesized many moons ago, by a true seer. Even the Centuars agree. ;)

...and what seer might that be? Someone at Augurers Anonymous, eh?
I get my predictions from the Oracle [For all your Prognosticative Needs!] at Delphi, who has been known to wear blue, but I'm sure that she's impartial and that that in no way biases her divination.

Centaurs? can't trust 'em any more than Satyrs!

Nonsense and my fixation with large brutish ruckbee players aside though,
I am hoping that the Sharks deliver on the promise shown last year and entertain us with some fine enterprising running rugby once again.
As to whether they beat the Bulls......well.......we shall see.

How bout I give away a Kingmax 256mb flashdrive to the person that has the score correct for the Stormers vs Cheetahs game this weekend. If no-one gets it right, then the person who gets next weekend's scrore between Stormers and Western Force correct gets it. We go on every Stormers game till somebody gets it right.

I will even pay the postage.

My predictions is:

Stormers 24
Cheetahs 21

This years Super 14 will be more of a farce than usual. Most of the All Blacks are not available for games because of the World Cup, they do have a rugby brain over there, only the Saffas as usual will be trying desperately to injure all their top players as soon as possible.
