 Ooooh...now that was painful to watch.
Who else wanted to turn the TV off before half-time?
Come on, confess!

The old-old joke sadly became true this past Saturday...

What's the only two man-made visible things from space? The great wall of China and the gaps in the defence of the Bokke.

Our tackleing was atrocious. Cudo's to John Smit, Spies, Jean de Villiers and Jantjies for being like 80% of our defence most of the time. The rest of the guys was ornaments on the field when they was supposed to form a wall. We missed, yes, MISSED 31 tackles. Insane.

That said, the selection had alot of newbie blood. In that light the result is not totally unexpected. This game is a good measure stick for people who are fast to write off our older players for new blood. Keep the dinosours in the team, have it balanced out VS the newbs and we might be on track again. I think Jake White didnt entirely loose the plot with the game, he needs to expose our younger players to whats out there, maybe not with the current age (old VS young) ratio.

Man that was panifull! Looks like this year, only three Springboks would make the Irish team. :) :(

Players that was expected to perform, didn't, and it all went south. I hope their happy that they dragged the 1906 Springboks name through the Lansdowne mud.

Sojourn, yours has got to be the most positive appraisal I've heard/read so far.

I guess that having a fetcher in the team wouldn't have hurt.

Very sad indeed!

At least Arsenal thrashing Liverpool 3-0 helped even out the weekend though! :D
