If this is real, i could get a job there cos I have Telskum Experience , 4 years of it!!! Sending my CV away anyway - But soemthing tells me this site is not real at all! Why would the SNO call themselves SNO and not Transtel or whatever they really are??

It's called marketing. Why not capatalise on an already well known acronym and make that the company name?

P.S. Am I the only one that reads 'snot telecom'?
Just when I got the hang of life they changed the rules.

Because they are SNO. They are not Transtel, Eskom Telecomms, Nexus, Tata, etc etc. The name may change at a later time, but for now they are just SNO.

Maybe the site is not legit, I sent my CV in anyway. Get in the line behind me Rid1, I have over 12 years Telecomms experience.

Dear Mr. ...,

Thank you for contacting us & the interest that you have shown in our services.

As you would be aware, the SNO has only recently received its license and is in the final stages of design and planning of a state of the art network backed up by a world class service delivery and support.

In the next few months, we will start a phased roll-out of products and services, which will ultimately cover the entire country.

Our ADSL services are currently planned to be launched during the fourth quarter of 2006.

We have captured your contact details in our database & will communicate to you as soon as we are ready with our service offerings.

Alternatively, you may please visit our website http://www.snotelecom.co.za for periodic updates.

We look forward to a long-term & mutually beneficial relationship.

Thanks & regards,

they're called snotelekom so the government doesn't have to to have too many brains while working out the accounts for our new state controlled duopoly
