Different people have different tastes. I must admit that I really enjoy Ghost in the Shell (movie and series, haven't watched the second movie or series). Noir I was less than enamoured of, and Akira was alright. Lain I have still to watch, sadly =`(

it's good if you set some time apart for it, i didnt feel like watching anime for a few days after watching it, quite seriously. But it's a good watch.

I want to watch Saikano again as well..

I must admit i did not like Akira.. did not even finish watching it...
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

Dudes!

I'm surprised noone's mentiond HOYLE'S MOVING CASTLE (if somebody hasorry).

I thought that was incredible. I lean slightly towards SPIRITED AWAY when comparing the two, but that was a flippen' cool movie.

Playing a game on PS2 "Shadow of the Colossus" It's pretty flippen' schweet. Japanese have got a mean style hey.

Howl's Moving Castle. Hoyle's is a series of books on games.

Can somebody tell me how Gilgamesh is?
All of my anime-club friends want it so badly, but can't get hold of it.

I also saw on other forums people want it.

Tehjho was fun but the ending sucked.

Get Elfen Lied, Full Metal Alchemist and Chrno Crusade. If you don't have it I'll give it to you, just pm me.

And if it sports good action, a lot of gore and have a lot of naked young girls or panty shots all over the place then ja it's anime.

Hehehe, panty shots are the best... *perv alert*
Man I just finished Chobits and that guy, well most guys when they see girls almost naked or half naked, those nose bleeds are the best...

Especially Naruto's when he does the seduction on that old Hokage... When they keel over like that...

It is getting harder to list my top 10, as all are good in their own way... But there will always be Bleach and Gundam...
Intel i5 750 - Asus P7P55D LE - G.Skill Ripjaws 2x 4Gig - Coolermaster HAF932
Club Radeon 5850 - Corsair HX750W - OCZ Vertex 2 120Gig SSD - 2x Seagate 1.5TB
Samsung 2494HS 1920x1080 - Logitech G15 - Logitech G500
BlackBerry Bold 9900 - iPod Touch 8Gig 2G

Top10? just 10? :P

In no particular order

Bleach
Naruto (though losing interest due to the 129837192837 filler episodes)
Get Backers
Berzerk
Great Teach Onizuka
Evangelion
One Piece ( I can't believe nobody has mentioned this?)
Full Metal Panic
Rurouni Kenshin
Elfen Lied

Worst

Full Metal Alchemist (100% due to it's ending)
(the rest I can't remember, as I dont make a habit of remembering crappy anime :P )

Oh and about the evangelion comments, each to his own, I thought the series was brilliant as it showed you how much emotional drama a single event can cause in a person's life.

P.S It had 3 endings, not 2 8)

EDIT: Typos

Evangelion made me very depressed years ago when I watched it... It had a similar effect on some of my friends.

SOme guy at UberLAN was showing me One Piece, getting all excited and stuff... I forgot to copy it from him in the end.

Evangelion had a very big effect on the majority of people who watched it, hence being such a brilliant series.

One Piece, as far as I know is over 260 eps long! I've got the first 100, and I haven't seen a SINGLE filler yet!

I'd recommend Gangutsuou, it's the only thing that i've seen recently and it's definately not that bad, it's futuristic but it retains a classic feel to it because the people still live in paris and there are Counts and governors etc. it's all about the relationships between decadent people and a mysterious Count who appears and seems to have his own dark motives.

i'd give it 7 bankais out of 10

1. Neon Genesis Evangelion
2. Elfen Lied
3. Chrno Crusade
4. Full Metal Alchemist
5. Berserk
6. Requiem From Darkness / The Tale Of 100 Stories
7. Scrapped Princess
8. Scryed
9. Bakuretsu Tenshi / Burst Angel
