Bugatti Veyron

Post by yUDi »

This is the ultimate supercar. The engine designed by VW is a W16 (2 V8's). :D The car has a top speed of 406 km/h and 0-100 in 2.9 seconds.
The most amazing thing is that it reaches 300km/h in 14 seconds.
The engine is 8 litres and the car has 7 gears. I need one of these.

I did a project on the Veryon about a year ago, when it was still in the prototype stage. Because of the emense speeds that the car can reach, they need specially made 21' tyres from Michelin (spelling!). They cost approx R12000 each! They're also "run flat" meaning you can still drive on them when they're flat!

Who would have thought that the ultimate road car was owned by VW!!!

But it is an absolute stunner in terms of beauty! 8O

Zheeeeesh, NinjaTic! You trust me that much?! I do a lot of scratching when I have a pillion - hope you're not too heavy!

Maybe it'll take too long to become a rich businessman, and besides, by then you'll have all the babes after your Body AND your money, so I won't stand a chance. Maybe I should borrow Liebs Porsche and take you for a burn, hmmmm?

Hey sounds good to me!

Hey Magic, do you ever attend the toy-runs that go from the Pavillion to the Harbour? I've been to one, and have seemed to miss out on the last two years. Are the toy-runs still going, if so, when does it take place? I really enjoyed the last one that I went on, even though I felt a bit small on my 250cc against the likes of the R1's and Harleys!! 8) 8O

Ah Mr. Bond's car from Die Another Day... quite snazzy! Does it include the cloaking device, rockets and shotguns? :P

NinjaTic. I've only been on one Toy Run, about 2 years ago. I don't know if they still have them. What 250 have you got? I've got a BMW R69s - white, with a fairing. 1961 classic  My housemate has an R100RS and a 1953 R50/3 plus bits and pieces of other old bikes and cars. I wish I could put my car in the garage but there's only space for all the bikes. 2 garages is definitely not enough for us!

Seriously now, apart from dreamcars, what car would you buy for everyday use?

I have a Suzuki 250fm - It sounds really cool and looks like a 400, since it's a 250cc engine in a 400 frame!

I think I would buy an Audi for an everyday car, classy, but not too snobby that people feel affended
