I survived the doctors... Nothing to worry about... Only my sinusitis that didn't want to get better with normal meds... Plus I was on a quick drip for antibiotics for the cellulitis that is flaring up again... And then I dragged RRF to the shops to get whipping cream as pouring cream won't work in the cheesecake and last that is all Woolies had in stock... So he had to stand outside in the queue with me looking at all the strange people...

Shelves were semi empty, even though the shops are open during the weekend... I din't want to go back to the shops but it was essential that I get the right cream for the cheesecake...
And I live in an area with more people than where you live in nowhere town... About 2 years ago, in a radius of less than 1 km from our complex around 4 new complexes with flats came up... Much higher population density now...
Talking about living nowhere, you should see where jee lives now... out in the bundus, in a small cottage on a farm 20 min from the nearest town...

I had plenty of essential shopping to do today.
Picked up some nonessentials while there.

I have heard the word bandied about before, but hadn't bothered to find out what it means until today.

Were you concerned that you might have fallen foul of COVID-19?KatrynKat wrote: ↑09 Apr 2020, 14:31 I survived the doctors... Nothing to worry about... That was the first thing I thought of when I developed a roughness [not pain as such] in my throat.

I went to our small PnP. Fully stocked. Sanitizer at the door. Tape on the floors to keep you apart, perspex shields for the customers / tellers. All staff wearing gloves and masks. Controlling the number of people entering.

The same stuff at our shops and at the doctors...
So... another 2 weeks locked up...
I have 1 more craft thing to do besides my knitting and 3 weekends... wowza this is gonna be tough... (I only do craft stuff on the weekends, so that I can differentiate between work day and weekend day. I knit week nights as well to keep busy...)

Diseases that the opposite sex has that gives you a reason to not be around them. When you get older, cooties becomes known as "STDs."

My left command key has popped off my MacBook and won't click back into place. In the middle of lockdown. You know how irritating it is trying to work with a Command key that lifts off every time your thumb gets a little sweaty?
