Is there no way to do it other than using Gravatar?
It looks as though I'd have to sign up to an image hosting website if I wanted to show you a screenshot.

The correct response is "No Tribble - it is a mistake anyone could have made. Don't be so hard on yourself". Now that would make me feel better.
And how have you been keeping yourself busy? Fill us in on the details.

In your defense, Gravatar was the only option enabled when you set your avatar up. I had to go into the database and delete avatar information from everyone else (otherwise, you'd get the browser broken image icon in place of the avatar), and I only turned avatar uploads back on after I'd done that.Prime wrote: ↑08 Apr 2020, 14:48I couldn't find an alternative to gravitar. Remember, I only managed to get the database, not the uploaded avatars or custom smilies. (Will be trawling through various custom forum packs over the Easter weekend though to see how many of those old smilies I can actually find...)

Wonder how many I can find you on the way back when machine
I've lost the deets for my Photobucket. If I can find an old post of mine, perhaps I can pull a few off it.

There's a few on there actually, but the Wayback Machine was borked when I later went to try and grab them Will try again this weekend though.

Ah....that explains why I didn't see anything in the drop down list when first I logged in last week.
Thanks, Ron

I missed three pages of chatter and only one things of importance needs to be noted: Boys don't have cooties. That's a girl thing.
