Did anyone else read "white whores"? No? Just me? Never mind then.

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
I survived the shops!!!!
Had to wait in ques outside Woolies and Dischem in the sun but other than that it was fine... RRF was waiting outside in the car and because he didn't listen to me when I said we should start the cars last week he thus sat with a dead battery (it only worked to get us to the shops 1 block away and then died) and had to call in his cousin to help jump start the car...
And then I disinfected everything I bought before it was packed away in the fridge, cupboard or storeroom... Did not use gloves or masks but a lot of people were wearing them...
We have interesting food again to eat... and stuff to bake a cake and cheesecake...

Yeah...
I am working from home... although it is not my normal daily work as that can only be done at the office they gave us other work to do so that we are able to still generate an income and get salaries...StarPhoenix wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020, 09:52 How many of you are working from home?
I am reading through advertisements on SA-Tenders.co.za
RRF is also working from home ( he does it now and then when he has to deploy late at night and works the next day from home) as will probably be doing so for the foreseeable future to make up for the 20% pay cut that they will most probably take... Top management will take a 35% cut if this is implemented... The clients are not able to pay their accounts... He's still working for E.O.H. IOCO...

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
I've ventured out a few times to buy bread. Not been too bad at the shops in this part of town, though I did avoid the few days around pension payouts. Checkers was fully stocked but mostly devoid of customers yesterday. Local Dischem was only allowing a few people in at a time, but that was only a five minute wait before I got in.KatrynKat wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020, 12:25 I survived the shops!!!!

Oh how I missed your posts
Glad your companies are making plans to keep you busy and employed. So many people I know of that are out of jobs or having to take unpaid leave. It is very sad this.KatrynKat wrote: ↑07 Apr 2020, 12:30

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
I cannot work from home, and nor can the production floor. We still have several-several dozen searchlights due before the end of June, plus all the supporting equipment to operate them that the customers need as well. So the entire building is full of people trying to avoid each other. It makes for very antisocial offices and lunch tables.
