Having seen harley quinn and entire castlevania series up to now. harley quin beats this season of castlevania hands down. Hamin only likes it for the final episode for obvious reasons.....:D

Harley Quinn is VERY good but it sometimes tries too hard to be edgy.
I'll agree season 3 wasn't the best season of Castlevania - still I'd put it ahead of Harley Quinn overall just because it doesn't have to try

Pretty much every thing in castlevania happened in the last episode. There were 2 or 3 harley quinn episodes that weren't so great, the last 4 or so episodes were pretty great especially with the justice league getting pwned. Two favs of the moment has to be Harley Quinn and final space.

Call me old fashioned but isn't that how episodic storytelling works?

Lol if you say so. Really damn boring....if you ask me.Several different story arcs, which you know will all melt together in the end, the reappearance of you know who at the end was at least a decent plot twist, making the long bottom story worth it.

Yes, lets take the opinion of someone who thinks the umpteenth re-imagining of Harley Quinn is peak story-telling...

The 'Adult' show that bleeps out the C word because its adult audience arent ready to hear that...

I downloaded all of Castlevania and will start watching it. I'd appreciate some suggestions. Also like Attack on Titan and watched all the old Naruto lol.

No I don't watch stuff like that, I am not a hardcore anime viewer like you, haven't even watched a single manga episode. I am pretty much a virgin still in that regard.A fringe viewer at best. That said I have watched spirited away, howl's moving castle, ponyo, one other I can't remember the name.

I'd recommend you watch Graveyard of the Fireflies, Wiz
You've quoted movies by arguably the best and most famous anime house in Japan, Studio Ghibli - yet you haven't seen their most poignant movie

It's about a kid and his little sister trying to survive in WWII Japan amidst the firebombings and famine and its absolutely gut-wrenching.

lol yeah, Just remembered the other one castle in the sky :D Will have a look.Spirited Away, Howl's moving castle is by far my fav. If I would have to choose it would likely be Spirited Away, the soundtrack absolutely sets the perfect tone for the movie

Found it on youtube. Will watch that tonight :) I have actually been trying to find some of their other stuff, generally not always that easy to find the 90's stuff, which in my personal opinion is when the best stuff got made.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGfZN6NdE2k

Found Princess Mononoke else where going to line that up as well.

If I actually look back, I have seen quite a few anime. Ghost in the shell movies, harlock space pirate, Maya the Honey Bee, series of 90's, Samurai Pizza Cats, likely a bunch of other stuff I wasn't even aware off, or simply can't remember any more.I remember Samurai Pizza Cats, being pretty epic back then.
I do like anime, but not a hardcore fan.I could never watch an anime with subtitles only.

Yeah Princess Mononoke was really good - also worth a watch! Anything by Ghibli, really...
I remember Samurai Pizza Cats, I always thought it was a Japanese parody of TMNT
Did you watch Robotech in the mid 80's by any chance?

You dont have to be a weeaboo to enjoy anime. it's like any other entertainment medium, there will be stuff that appeals to you and stuff that doesn't. Focus on what you enjoy and consume that while ignoring all the harem and tentacle rape stuff ;)

Princess mononoke, pretty decent...didn't like the ending

Graveyard of the fireflies, reminds me a bit of fairytales, sort of happy ending I guess, if you can call it that.

Now I need moar, and no idea where to find the rest :(

Bit of youtube searching found some other stuff, currently looking at what is there, watching reviews ect before watching.Spotted escaflowne, looks intersting.

*edit yip escaflowne, turned out to be pretty great.

Next up is

from up on poppy hill
redline
time of eve
children who chase lost voices

Sticking to youtube links only, so results are going to be somewhat limited, but if the rest are any thing like escaflowne, it is going to be fun, will download what i can in case links get taken down

lol hamin you mentioned graveyard of the fireflies is sad, have you seen a silent voice ? Really awesome and well constructed story highly, highly recomend it if you haven't watched it yet.Definitely want more of that, adding it to the top of the list with spirited away.
