lol I have one or two clients that are diehards but the future is in CDS and Azure/Dynamics365 - so moved in that direction now. What are you and the lovely family up to ?

Re: Welcome Home !!!!
The family and I are enjoying the bliss that is quarantine
Schools are shut down here and I'm working from home until further notice which is quite trying...
I didn't have the good sense to spawn crotchfruit while I was young like you did - if I had they would be old enough to go find their own place to be isolated in
How are you finding Azure? I would have thought you'd be into PowerApps more than D365

Re: Welcome Home !!!!
I am into PowerApps in a big way - going to get my teeth into PowerAutomate too but only done the basics (like getting my gmail into Telegram). Love PowerBi!!!! Want to play with bots as that is going to be fun and definitely a big thing. I like databases - and my client needed someone to train the Microsoft students - so I did the MB-901 and actually passed.hamin_aus wrote: ↑30 Mar 2020, 19:33 The family and I are enjoying the bliss that is quarantine

Only done Azure Administration (AZ-103 and AZ-900) - not done the exams yet. Still trying to load VMs on Linux.
I have decided that there are way too many things to learn - and I am too old for this - but doing it anyway.
I am lucky I had them early - they keep themselves occupied and are fun to chat to. But enjoy every second. It doesn't last and soon they will be wanting to drive your car.

Re: Welcome Home !!!!
Lol Made Chicken breyani yesterday with naan bread, naan bread is gone but still some breyani left....made with an awesome raita sauce. In my house you have to make a double batch of naan bread or else you don't get any.Didn't add any garlic to the breyani as I added garlic to the naan bread which is optional.
Literally can't turn your back when making naan bread, as it vanishes from the plate.
I also like making korma curry and rogan josh and of course the occasional madras curry. While not indian, lahori fish bites is my fav, made with lots of chili and chick pea flour.

Nice! I spent two years working in a company that was 50/50 split between on-prem and AzureTribble wrote:I am into PowerApps in a big way - going to get my teeth into PowerAutomate too but only done the basics (like getting my gmail into Telegram). Spent a lot of time on Power BI - basically architected and built their Power BI Premium capacity and migrated a their Cognos reports over to PBI
Also spent a lot of time with Azure SQL
Didn't do much with PowerApps because I'm not a filthy dev, but I did see others do some neat things with it!
They never stop adding stuff, it can get frustrating because as soon as you think you know a product they drop in a bunch of new features/functionality - or worse deprecate a bunchTribble wrote:I have decided that there are way too many things to learn

Anyone hear anything from Starphoenix? He hasn't been on FB since Friday. He might get a kick out of his.

I did AZ-103 before I left SA, it's good. What is nice about the newer MS exams, especially Azure, is that they're heavily focused on labs instead of the traditional MS multiple choice. Busy with the architect exams at the moment, once I find time again. About 70% of my clients at the moment are M365 migrations, Exchange hybrid, Intune MDM. Doing a lot with Azure Information Protection which is a very interesting as well, but an absolute PITA to design and implement for large customers.
