Re: Welcome Home !!!!
Lol I got enough bread and stuff planning on making some chicken breyani and naan bread tomorrow which will last about 4 days and stretch rations a bit more.Had only bread and some chips today any a cupcake. I am saving most meat and nice dishes for towards the middle end of the lock down, so when the rest of you have bread and soup, I will have fish and chips, steak, lamb chops ect.....lolStuart wrote: ↑28 Mar 2020, 20:51I skipped panic buying Wednesday and Thursday and ventured out into the wild yesterday morning to secure three loaves of bread. Re: Welcome Home !!!!
So far it doesn't feel much different from the norm - just I don't get to leave the house whenever I want - and for as long as I want. Really don't mind this - have a ton of work and plenty of distractions (as usual). I do miss loud music while driving - but will survive. Everyone having to work from home has brought a ton of work my way and I am having to learn new skills in order to help them adjust. Luckily I was already a fan of Office 365 and Teams and SharePoint and currently studying Azure. So everything fits.
How are you doing ?

Re: Welcome Home !!!!
Remote working really is the future.
Work wise we are managing well, we use Slack at work and it works amazingly well for us, the usual Webex and Skype too.
I usually work from home 1 day a week so it has been easy to ramp up to 5.
On a personal level its been interesting, having a 4 year old in the house 24/7 and a 7 month pregnant wife who hates to sit still means each day is a challenge.
