Well still have the same PC as when the forums was active, so apparently I'm not too up to date.

Probably something to do with it being the day after Sunday? :?

But I'm only guessing...

I'm fine thank you, just registered for Unisa again so will probably have to get studying again. Haven’t received an invoice from them (Sanral) for the 2 times I went through one so I'm pleading unconscious

If you are going to draw attention to yourself. make sure that none of the witnesses survive long enough to be troublesome....

The boss thinks that it will be great fun for us to be playing sport after tomorrow's meetings. Not being even remotely sporty [hated PT at school], I shall try to keep a low profile while attempting to remain as far away as possible from the ball as I can. There will probably be volleyball. Again.

This "team" thing seems to be all the rage these days. /rolls eyes.
I'm not at work to be chummy: I go there because life revolves around money, and short of winning the lottery or finding out that Great Uncle Caractacus has died and left us a vast fortune, we sometimes have to go to work and do things that are not fun in exchange for money.

Apparently SP* and the Cap'n haven't been liking their jobs a little bit.

But otherwise, OK thanks. Had some very good news today: I took my Mom to go see an orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion on an IOD (she fell and broke her humerus at work a year and a half ago resulting in six 28mm screws in my Mom's arm and a year and a half of pain and discomfort and limited movement) and this new guy said that in his opinion the screws need to come out as they are sticking out the bone and are impeding movement.

I am so relieved! So, so, so relieved! My Mom hasn't been able to drive - or even reach down into the washing machine to take stuff off the bottom of the washing machine! - and so the last year and a half has been, well, slightly challenging. I've had to do almost everything around the house.

It's been frustrating for another reason too: my Mom has been visiting the original orthopedic surgeon and the physio guy every second month since July 2013 and despite saying that things haven't improved and that the exercises haven't been helping but hurting, something's wrong! he refused to send her for X-rays or scans.

*Thanks for piquing my interest in Caratacus, which led me to Googling him :- )
