lens replacements in eyes

Is there anyone who has recently had lens replacements done to their eyes , i am particularly interested to hear from someone who had the multifocal lenses implanted.I am having my eyes done in September and have to make a choice between single vision and multi vision lenses so i am very interested to hear from people who had these lenses fitted.
