It seems there is a world of ***** going on in cricket at the moment. The administrators of the sport really need to start making examples of people in order to discourage and minimise less than savoury behaviour.

They will make an example the next time it is a South African player involved.

Yeah, funny how when the Indians are involved, everything sort-of just slowly disappears...

India are hammering us right now. This could be an interesting game. Our team does look very light, though.

Lol, Peter Kirsten!

"And Morne Morkel is back on the field now."

Natalie Germanis: "No, that's a replay you're looking at."

Kirsten: "Oh."

Oh look we lost... Second game against a top team that we lost in major international event... To early to use that little tag MT hates ;).

Next up Pakistan! Here's hoping for a good game where we win and carry on winning past the final so MT can shove that silly tag down my throat :P.

Or, for that matter, if our batsman don't learn how to communicate and call half decently while running between the wickets. Really, with four run outs of the nature we saw in this game, we really didn't deserve to win!

Someone made a very good comment the other day on Cricinfo:
At least no-one can say SA is going to choke in this tournament. They have by far one one of the weakest squads. I haven't rated SA in ODI's in many years.
So there. You can't choke when no-one rates you in the first place. Okay?

Positives
- Peterson and McLaren's batting.
- Duminy's bowling contribution.

Negatives
- In a match where spin was a crucial factor, India's bits-and-pieces part-timer (Raina) bowled better than
our front-linner (Peterson).
- Run-outs, the one of Miller in particular. You can see in the replay how Faf was sending him back, but
Miller wasn't even looking at him.
- Morkel's injury, made 10x worse by the absence of Steyn and Kallis.
- Making de Villiers both captain and keeper. I really can't hammer on this point enough. CSA is **** up
de Villiers by doing this to him. HE MUST NOT BE BOTH.
- Anything Rory Kleinveldt did on the field.

I could probably list more, but I don't feel like it. :?

What top players?

I must say, I disagree with that comment. You can't say they choked in the opening game, but when the pressure hits in the knockout phases, or even in a do-or-die situation in the deciding game of the first round, then we'll see if they choke again.
