Still trying to get rid of it? I still don't have one, nor do I have the budget for one. As I'm buying a house now. Why do we do that....Belix wrote:Indeed. I don't usually post in this thread, but when I do it's because I've replaced a car that brought me nothing but bad luck
I drove this out the showroom on Wednesday this week:

I do like the look of those Kias. I'd be interested to know how well it does in the quality department.Mr_Norris wrote:I don't usually post in this thread, but when I do it's because I've replaced a car that brought me nothing but bad luck

Definitely take one for a test drive. I've been driving a Daihatsu Sirion for the last 3 or so years, and the build quality is quite a fair bit better.
No rattles or knocking at all, everything is solid - but that could be because it's new.
It's also backed by a 5 year / 100 000 km warranty, and another 2 years on top of that.
I haven't driven any of their older models, but based on just looks alone - I think they've come a long way.
And the interior is awesome, more so for the driver though.

Gratz on the new wheels ... may they bring you many miles of joy!

Re: Your wheels (pics)
So after my Mk6 GTI in Cape Town I needed a bigger car, just before the kids arrived so bought an Audi A4 2.0T S-Line which I loved!
After moving to AUS I decided to go for something different and bought a Ford Falcon XR6 which has the Aussie made 4.0L straight 6 Barra Engine. Love this car as well, just hellishly heavy on fuel.
And for the wife I went for a Kia Sportage, awesome value here and a great car for us so far, good for carting the kids and all their stuff around.

Nice one Prime, love those Scoobies. Used cars are such good value here, especially those from Asia. I paid under $20k for our Sportage, think you can get a Picanto in SA for that.
