Rampage-Gaming
Ordered stuff from them last Friday (AMD FX 8350 and some thermal paste) and have still not recieved my orderd or anything, despite the fact that I have paid already. Moment i placed the order I wass emailed and told the items were in stock and that i can proceed with payment, so I did. Then on the 29th when they finally replied to email, i got a reply stating "Good day
Stock on the CPU was not available due to miscount at our supplier.
We are trying to source it elsewhere at this time.
We will let you know today whether can get stock"
So i wait the rest of the day, no response. Next day i email them asking them and they reply with CPU still not in.
We are hoping stock will come in this week." No name was given
Today my gf phoned them, after numerous attempts at calling them they answered and said "stock should be in tomorrow> we are trying to source it for you"
After reading the horror stories on Hello Peter im getting paranoid..
any suggestions on what to do?

If you paid by credit card, call your bank and see if you can do a charge back.
If you paid via PayPal, lodge a dispute
The site says they ship within 48 hrs of placing an order, so they having a laugh at this point.

Re: Rampage-Gaming
That's what you get for buying AMD. j/k!
That sucks. I had a look at their site last year, glad I didn't buy something. How did you pay?

Re: Rampage-Gaming
I can say that www.takealot.com , rebeltech.co.za and nivo.co.za are trustworthy. I ordered from www.prophecy.co.za once but the order fell through due to stock not arriving in time.
Other than those I actually use a guy in somerset west even though I no longer live there. I have no issues paying for proper service.

Re: Rampage-Gaming
Hi
I know Rampage Gaming had some bad publicity in the past and some really bad service, we apologize for this and will try our best to be the ultimate gaming store in the country. We are getting a new manager at the end of this month and a new website and I hope you all give us a chance to regain some of the trust we have lost in recent months.
This is the official blurb on new management:
Rampage Gaming will be launching new site at the end of this month or very early next month, the new site looks wicked so I hope you all take a look at it when its up.
Also we are sad to report that our manager has decided to move on and sell his majority share in the company. The new manager and owner will be taking over at the end of this month.
Many changes are forthcoming due to this including better customer service and a bigger focus on the gaming community and providing them with the ultimate online store experience imaginable.
We hope you give him a warm welcome.
