Ok, quick question, what is your recommendation for day-to-day driving? I have Michelin 19inch 255/35 Pilot Sport2 at the moment. Struck a pothole a week ago, spare is also a new Pilot Sport2, but I now need a new left front, but would like to keep all tyres matched.
Give me some thoughts. Michelin, Pirelli, Conti, Chinese import. Pros and Cons on each?
I'm really happy with what I have, after taking off the flat tyre, I see that I actually had 2 nails in it, and it didn't give a single day of trouble, even while driving 160-200km/h normally.
Tyres: what should I buy?

Re: Tyres: what should I buy?
Personally I am happy with the cheaper makes from large manufacturers. I have four of those on my bakkie and have not noticed poor wet performance, bad mileage or fast wear. In short, they work and they are cheap.
But, you drive at those speeds. These won't cut it, so never mind.

It's on your RS4? I'd stick with the Pilot Sport 2's probably.

On that car, Bridgestone or Continental if you ask me.

I have not yet tried Pilot Sports, but I love my Yoki S-Drives

As long as its not Dunlop or Firestone I reckon you should not have a problem with any tire make. My personal preference is Michelin because they last a longer time than any other tyre I use...

If it's for a performance car then stick to Michelin PS2/3 or Good Year Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. My one buddy has the Eagle F1's on his RS4 and another on his S4, and they're superb. I'll be fitting them to the GTI when the time comes.

A family friend of ours had a set of Michelins on his Nissan Patrol for so long, the rubber started to fall apart, but it still had tread!

Yep, similar story with the ones that were fitted to my dads old ML270. They definitely seem to last longer than most others
I think michelin, bridgestone or yokohama will do then
