Yes, it's very silly of me to start a whole thread for this but a) I'm desperate b) when the other sissies get tearful, you're all too happy to throw your two cents into the plate, my turn
You see, here's the problem. I'm bored to death. Usually, around this time of the year, I'm obsessing over a new PC, a game, stealing some guys girlfriend, etc.
This year none of that interests me. Crysis is gorgeous but from the demo it feels like Far Cry all over again. Portal rocked, but I'm not playing it twice. With the weather as it is, necrophilia is a little difficult. I got some money to spend... and believe it or not, I can't think of anything I want to buy. (No, you can't have some.)
Train surfing, crime, recreational drugs, babies have all crossed my mind and no, none seem like they're going to entertain me for too long.
Is this what they call "cynical" ? How do I fix it?
A really great man, Ric Flair, said that the day a wresteler doesn't feel any great emotions when he walks to the ring, is the day he should retire.
The same can be said about life: The day you're bored to death and have no way to remedy that, is the day you should start contemplating suicide.
Recently I've also been bored out of my brains, but I guess that's cause I created a really comfortable lifestyle in my room the past 2 years, and campus sucks.. I thought of how I could go out in style, maybe do the world record suicide jump off a plane, or do a nice suicide combo like the PSN game "Pain!"... There are multiple ways of retiring from life in style, and I wish you all the best in finding the retirement that's best for
you
PS. Covering yourself in Radium, and running around acting like a mutated superhero is NOT a shameful way of retiring... At least its fun for a while, then you'll have a weird "high", and glow blue etc.
Me personally I'm leaving this country in a few months, so I'm holding my retirement till a later date.
GL HF!
