Coming out of the woods [I hope]

Post by StarPhoenix »

Hey dudes [and dudettes]. For those of you who may not know, I suffered a seizure last Monday night, and spent several days in hospital [being prodded and probed and spoon-fed and held down while my lumbar was being punctured]

I was flown to Port Elizabeth on Monday for an EEG [no Neurologist in East London], and was told that I should know by the end of the week whether I have epilepsy/can expect to see more weird stuff floating around my room in future.

I am back at work now, but am looking away from my computer regularly to avoid headaches, etc.

I haven't felt any inclination to turn on a pc or console at home since the incident, but have become a a WHOLE LOT more interested in wimmin. Personality change?

Glad things are looking better SP. ;)

I am hardly the one to give advice, but avoiding starting conversations with a woman with: "Hey baby!" seems to work. :)

Best of luck to you!

I am so glad you are on the mend birdie. And being interested in Wimmin is really not a bad thing - but then I have been saying that for years now

Et tu Tribble?

What disturbs me, Rusty, is the possibility that I may find myself clapped in irons.....

Birdie - one problem with becoming involved with ladies - you have to prepare yourself to face rejection, strange personalities, mood swings, a drop in your current disposable income, interference in your space, less time to do the things you want to do..... I know these are a lot of negatives - but you have to be prepared to face them anyway.

Does the above still hold true if one is not signing a Mating Contract, and said friend is educated, and earns much more than I do?

Have already been rejected. It was something of a relief as it helped me to stop thinking of her.

Son get your head in the game. If she says no, it's opposites day.
You get back in there and you keep at it until she relents.

Then, once you hit that - you can quit that
