Thunder Cats!

Post by StarBound »

Yes they are back on starting on Cartoon Network this saterday at 9am.

I'll be honest my memories of the show is vague. I just liked the fortress they lived in :P

So if your willing to take the risk of a childhood memory being decicrated by CN as it does with most of its remakes you know that there is only one place to be curled up infront of this weekend.

Wow, I loved this show when I was a young lad. I had the figurines, duvet cover, wallposter and the mighty Thundercat Sword...which, as my Mom likes to remind me, I use to run out into the garden with (sword held high) and yell at the top of my lungs...Thunder, Thunder, THUNDERCATS!

Is this a remake StarBound?

The new Thundercats is very different to the one you'd remember as a kid - not a direct remake.
But not a complete reimagining either.

Worth a watch for nostalgia

Had the Lion-O action figure with trigger arms and glowing eyes from battery/ringamajigger. I dismantled and hid it after I was told it was evil and we had to get rid of our action figures. I then forgot where it was. Now it's evil is still in that house somewhere.

Recorded it on the PVR and watched it. Was an hour special but stupid thing didn't adjust so only saw half of the 2nd episode.

So far its better than the other crap on the channel.

I have never watched it before. :(

I don't think I was even born...or was I?

I'll check it out if it comes on again...see what it's like.

Oh, then I should check it out. I've heard a lot about it. :)
