Re: The non-PCF Fail/Win Thread
i nominate the Lengau Testing Center for a fail...
went to make a booking for learner's license... all went well with the fotos and eye test... go pay for the booking and didn't know that that is where they also give you your date... but they are supposed to ask if the date in question is ok, if not, which other date suits you... the girl who helped me was chatting to a "colleague" the whole time that she was helping me... i paid and she printed the receipt that had the date of test on it... but she never asked if the date was fine or whatever, she just gave me the page...
the date is not doable as i won't be in Bloem that time... they cannot change it either... it took us over an hour going from person to person, back to the same people just to hear what can be done... after making a formal complaint against 2 people ( as the girl and her friend was very rude with us) and no one could really help us, one of the top ladies (white and afrikaans) helped us out... got my money back and can go back at the beginning of June so that the whole process can be followed to change the date to one later in July...
if the girl at the paying/booking counter had asked if the date was ok, then i would have said no and not made the booking and come back later when the dates for July are open...

Re: The non-PCF Fail/Win Thread
I nominate the boy racer in his modified Mercedes Vito(circa 2001-2003 model) for a fail.
So there I am overtaking some truck and I see a van approaching at one hell of speed, so I speed up to get past the truck and return the the left hand lane before i have him tailgating and getting angry. So he flies past and disappears into the distance, a while later I come across him again. But now he has a smoke screen of epic proportions behind him, I have never seen such think white/grey smoke poring out of somebodies exhaust before.....reminds me of F1 races during the 90's.
But I lol'd, and said "yea that's what happens when you drive like that"

Maybe he was in a hurry to get the car in for a service?

Re: The non-PCF Fail/Win Thread
I doubt that, from what I have seen all commercial vehicles seem to rocket along at way over the speed limit. every day I will get somebody in a bakkie or panel van that will come right up behind me and then blast into the distance.....Hman wrote:Maybe he was in a hurry to get the car in for a service?

I did not nominate myself - merely answered your question with an opinion. But yes - this was the wrong thread. But there are no mods or admins to be seen

That's what we have the 'Report this Post' button for. And it just so happens that uberRat oversees the fail thread as well!
