"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

Well, in my experience, all love does is screw you over and hurt you in the end. No thanks, it's not for me.

So let me get this right? You have invented a time machine? I'm sorry but unless you have a time machine or something to peer into your future you cannot make that claim. Yes you past experience has taught you to be wary but to take those lessons and to blanket every female out there as out to hurt you is not healthy and not right at the same time. This is a very sad outlook my friend and I hope it changes later on in life...Ron2K wrote: Well, in my experience, all love does is screw you over and hurt you in the end. No thanks, it's not for me.

Plenty of fish in that number...Earth Officially Home To 7 Billion Humans

New submitter arcite writes"It's official: planet Earth is now home to over seven billion ugly-bags-of-mostly-water (otherwise known as humans). We're adding ten thousand new humans every hour, or one billion every nine years. Head over to 7 Billion Actions (put together by the UN with the help of SAP) and check out the population map data. Short of adopting a strict diet of Soylent Green, what viable solutions will enable us to survive on this increasingly crowded pale blue dot? What will the role of technology be in supporting this many people?"

The funny thing is that we're expected to learn from our past experiences and not to repeat mistakes... Just saying.Anakha56 wrote:Yes you past experience has taught you to be wary but to take those lessons and to blanket every female out there as out to hurt you is not healthy and not right at the same time.

Re: Killerbyte gets dumped
@Syko I said that .
You do learn from your mistakes. Its whether or not you apply what you have learned . I very quickly identified those females who were out to use me and who wanted to know me. Sometimes it requires you to be adventurous and to take that jump, if I did not take the jump I would not be getting married at the end of the year . It maybe a mistake but from what I know of us it will last until the very end...
Like I said you cannot say every relationship will end the same and just give up without trying. But then this is a choice you make and I am just disagreeing with it as is human nature...

Every hello ends in goodbye. The important thing is the memories in-between.

Re: Killerbyte gets dumped
So yesterday as you can imagine I was in a pretty foul mood... until she phoned me.
She phoned to say thank you for the flowers I sent her yesterday. The rest of the conversation didn't consist of anything important but as you can imagine I am in a much better mood today. I thinks its because she phoned and that says to my mind that she still thinks of me. Maybe I am being a fool but dammit I am a fool who is either running head first into brick wall or back into the arms of the woman I am still madly in love with. Only time will tell.
and yes Dae, I was in such a state yesterday and that is why I turned to my internet pals.

Pity there is a kid involved that got attached.
You will recover eventually, time does this... the kid on the other hand -might- get a scar for life.

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

I expected mockery before I even opened the thread, but it seems that the average age of the users may have gone up from 12.doo_much wrote:I have just realised that no-one has mocked KB.

Heartbreak is something most, if not all of us, have been through, and we all know it sucks. Mocking a guy at this point would be especially lame.
