About that... when I went along to Organised Chaos at the end of May, I got around to registration at the front desk, and this little episode played out:

Girl at registration desk: "OK, we need your next of kin details in case something happens to you..."
Me: "Erm... uhm...."
DJT: "No worries, use my details."
Registration girl: (speaking to DJT) "OK, how do you know him?"
DJT: (putting his arm around me) "We're engaged!"

I turned a brilliant shade of scarlet, and the poor girl at the registration desk didn't know what to do next...

This just in.

Concern is growing as to the whereabouts and safety of the mouse. Earlier this morning the mouse reported that police vehicles were seen stopping across the street.

Holy cow, something is going on outside our house here. Police cars just came screeching to a very loud halt across the road. I'm going to go hide!

He was then reported to have said

Ah, crud, police are outside my gate now. BBL.

Those were the last words anyone has heard from him. If anyone knows what has become of the mouse, please post the information urgently.

As noted elsewhere, police were just wondering if we were aware of any domestic issues with the family across the road in the past. Stupid idiot of a husband came home drunk this morning and started waving a knife around at his wife and kids.

Follow up to previous bulletin: The mouse is safe although a little shaken. He was unaware that his neighbour harboured such violent tendencies. Thankfully the situation seems to have been resolved peacefully. The mouse has arranged for an AA councillor to visit his neighbour later this week.
