The Series Thread
Given that Wonder Woman is a DC Comics character I feel a strong sense of compulsion to at least give it a look. This is accompanied by a morbid sense of curiosity in determining whether it is even possible for WB to sink lower than Aquaman.
Personally, if the superhero genre must continue, I would've punted a remake of The Flash.

Putting the 'T 'n A' back in Tiara
But seriously, come on, Wonder Woman? How desperate are they getting?

They are going with the sex sells formula. Just the problem here is...it's more of a turn off seing that costume.
And Stuart. Don't even get me started on captain america. I'm glad he died.

Re: The Series Thread
OK, you want to watch something GOOD ?
I spent the last 96 hours watching 'The Unit'
Was not a bad decision to start - I could not STOP WATCHING !!!!
"The Unit" is the U.S. Army colloquial term for Delta Force. Its recruits are selected from the United States Army (primarily from the Ranger Regiment and Special Forces Groups). The few who pass selection then undergo several more years of sophisticated and rigorous training for counter terrorism, recon, and direct-action missions. In a TV interview, series creator Eric Haney—who is a former Delta Force operator—stated that the term "Delta Force" is never used in the spec ops community. They are only referred to as "The Unit," and their DOD designation is "Combat Applications Group." The official cover name of The Unit in the show is the similar sounding "303rd Logistical Studies Group." In the third season's premiere, an onscreen read-out specifically identifies The Unit as "1st Special Actions Group," which is reminiscent of 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta.
***Seriously recommended

Re: The Series Thread
Oh and the lady who plays Sarah Jane Smith (Dr Who spin-off) has died. One more season of that still to go. Wonder if they will replace her?
Re: The Series Thread
So it's quite an old show now but I only recently started watching Burn Notice and I really enjoy it. Reminds me a lot of Life, which was one of my favourite shows, while it lasted.
Re: The Series Thread
So there are only two more episodes of Smallville to go, and Clark still can't fly.
Michael Rosenbaum will be making a special guest appearance for the series finale to resurrect Lex.

Re: The Series Thread
Not a "TV" series, but does anybody watch the Mortal Kombat: Legacy online episodes? Pretty cool.

Yup, watched episode 4 yesterday, good stuff. Also just watched the latest Supernatural (S06E19) and it's getting a bit tiring now...

The Event! That's the name of the series I'm looking for! Anyone watching it?

Season 10 started out really promising, but died in the middle part. They seriously lost the plot for a good third of the season. Here's hoping for a decent series finale.Mystical_Titan wrote: @ Stuart - Behind on Smallville and Supernatural!
