The old guy looks old!
It's sad though that only four (three forumites at that) even made an effort to attends.

Re: Cape Town PCF meet - Forries, 27th November, 13:00
I don't think it was the organising. This thread was already up and running way back when we were organising Gilroy's, iirc.
Re: Cape Town PCF meet - Forries, 27th November, 13:00
When meets first started it was Cape Town that led the party. I can remember one at Canal Walk where there were 20 of us. The smallest meeting in those days was eight. These pics seem to have disappeared, they used to be on the forum. Anyway who cares if I look old, I am old. However I am also wise so do not **** with me.

Lancelot you are an awesome bally.lancelot wrote:The Cape Town people are just not what they used to be, they are indifferent, arrogant, lethargic and do not care less. Here we have a meeting with Kieron who runs the show and puts in hours of work and the locals cannot even make an effort to attend. There were four of us in total and thank goodness we had a wonderful time of teasing and joking.
Capetownians just piss me off.
Even greaterr than Epic Beard Man and Cliff Yablonski in my book.
Who cares if some fancy-pants from Capetown don't want to meet with you and Ron who by the way is also a legend in his own lifetime... I don't know DJT personally, but he knows a female IRL, so he's automatically in the upper echelons of forum members.
So the main CT members were present and that's all that matters. You were better off without the riff-raff and the hangers-on. They would have probably tried to leave without paying for their meals anyway.

All power to you jamin_za, may you go from strength to strength, I wonder if there are any other members in Aus?
Re: Cape Town PCF meet - Forries, 27th November, 13:00
Ye Sir Rustbucket - KZN is saving money to fly the great man down for our next meet.
I will probably be at the end of 2012 ....

"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.
