Allow me to share with you guys my first impression when I saw the title of this topic (and I quote): "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

Then I remembered that I am a firm believer in people doing whatever makes them happy. As long as it doesn't involve inflicting pain on others.

As long as you don't hurt other people, by all means, do whatever tickles your fancy.

Lets see... the way I see it gays are nothing new or nothing special. Sorry Im being so blunt but someone had to say it, nobody did, so... seems like the duty is on me.

For example: Just because I am straight I do not tell people that I am straight, it is nothing to be proud of and nothing important that needs to be proclaimed in the sense that it changes nothing. What people do in their private lives should be of no-ones concern. I do not see why gays have to be proud of being gay. What are they actually proud of??? May I ask??? Because the only difference between gay guys and straight guys is their different preferences when it comes to sex. Why should there be gay pride when all gay okes do different to straight guys is have sex with people of the same sex whilst straight dudes get jiggy with girls.

Really, what is all the fuss about? Maybe if gay okes were proven to be smarter or more successful in life than straight men then they would have something to be proud of, but I see nothing proud about guys whose preference is to stick it to guys instead of girls.

The way I see it, straight people and gays are equal and neither should be proud of their sexual orientation nor discriminate against the other.
