jee it was very painful for to make the post because spiders are not my fav creature either. On a side note the bouncy is gone ;).

Looks like one of the Jumping spiders Tribs. That 'cute' one is quite common in Durban.
I must say I am a fan of jumping spiders. One species in particular, Portia, is very cool. Probably the closest a spider will come to being called intelligent - they can plan their hunts etc.

Photographing them however is another story...
Portia's seem to be able to see the reflection of themselves in the camera lens when you try and get a macro shot of them. So they are forever leaping straight at you while you're looking through the lens. Unnerving if you aren't expecting it ;)
