Nope, he lives in Pretoria
Yeah man, I have spent a little time "under the needle", so to speak. I went "Tattoo artist shopping" for quite a while before I had my first tattoo done. I eventually narrowed it down to a girl in Cresta and a Guy here in Pretoria. I can't remember the girl's name, but she's pretty good. The guy I settled on is amazing though. His name is Tony and he's absolutely amazing at what he does. You'd have a hard time finding a bad line anywhere on my arms. He's what I've got:
My first piece was the name "Jesus" on my left forearm:
As you can see, the line work is absolutely perfect:
My second piece was my right arm. It's got a piece of scripture (1 John 4:12) spiraling down my arm from the very top, down to my wrist. it's also got "Love Conquers All" written on the inside of my forearm:
My right arm will be getting completely sleeved as well. It'll be filled with roses

That's a long way off though. I don't have money for that now
I'm not going to lie - Tony's work is quite expensive, but at the same time, I'll tell you that his work is perfect. I probably could have done my tattoos for half of what I paid with another artist, but I wouldn't have had this kind of quality. These tattoos are so well done that I get other tattoo artists complementing the line work. Sleeving my arm, for example, is going to cost me more than 20K. That's for a sleeve with colour though. Colour is always more expensive. A greyscale sleeve is more along the lines of 12K.
Remember one thing, and remember this well:
Good tattoos aren't cheap, and cheap tattoos aren't good.
Don't decide on your tattoo based on PRICE. Price is absolutely irrelevant. If you don't have enough money to do what you want to do now, save up until you do. Don't do something that'll be cheaper.
Anyway, Tattoo Tony. He's on Pretorius Street. Let me know if you want me to come with you or something
EDIT: One last thing: Don't worry about the pain. It's not NEARLY as bad as you think it'll be

That guy that used to mod cases. Now I take photos. True story.
